Fisherman
Hi, Everyone! I've been working on my own "re-imagining" of Disney's Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attractions for RCT3. My version is a vertical drop coaster shoe-horned into The Hollywood Tower Hotel. Think of an inversionless SheiKra as a darkride. I think it would be awesome. Well, here is a short teaser video to whet your appetites: stream here: media.putfile.com/The-Twilight-Zone-Tower-of-Terror--Escape-from-the-Fifth-Dimension-Trailer or download here: www.megaupload.com/?d=1SOIGVES Final video: www.snowwerx.com/movies.html and here: www.putmeonthenet.net/friends.htm and here are some screenshots of what I've done so far: I still need to do the entire building exterior...right now it is just a shell: I'll post updates here as I add stuff. -Derek
Zen Coaster
Absolutely brilliant. How did you do the textures for the elevator doors?
Fisherman
Thanks! The elevator doors are actually custom objects created by a talented Atari community member named Disfan1. They are part of his Tower of Terror set. -Derek
Adriel
Just brilliant!! How do you make all of those things?
Steffen_Dk
I dont know why, but it reminds me about Saw.. Nice and scary
DarkStitch626
Yes this looks absolutely awesome. I do have to agree with Steffan_DK though it reminds me of Saw!
Zen Coaster
Just brilliant!! How do you make all of those things? I guess they're all part of that scenery pack. Great job putting them all together though!
Fisherman
Actually, the only objects I used from that particular pack were the open elevator doors and the closed elevator doors. The rest of the stuff is selected from dozens of sets and combined. Thanks for the nice comments! EDIT: Anyway...here are the first exterior architecture screens. These are of the main entrance...where the lobby is. -Derek

AlmereStars
that's nice :O really nice! are you going to put it up for download once your done??
Fisherman
Thanks! I usually only release a video because releasing the game file involves linking to image files that I'd have to release too. It is tricky but I may try to do it with this ride. -Derek
Zen Coaster
That's looking really nice. Can't wait for the video (and download, should you do it). A few years ago I had a dream about a rollercoaster version of the Haunted Mansion and have been planning on doing it in RCT3. You've inspired me to get off my butt and finally do it

Fisherman
These shots show the enormity of the ride building so far...wow...that'd be verrrry expensive to build in real life... -Derek (sorry about the double post if that's not allowed...) It's great stuff! I finally started working on the lightning-damaged-zapped-into-the-5th-dimension part of the exterior: -Derek
