Photo TR: Storybook Land

Our friends, Ed and Casey, from CT decided to head to Storybook Land in Cardiff, NJ back in December. Even though we had already been there before, we decided to join them. Christmas is a great time to visit this park since they do an awesome job with lights just about everywhere they could possibly put them. Plus, best of all, they have a coaster that operates in December! On to the pictures:

Hi there Sue!

Thanks for posting your update. I love the turtle Tilt-a-Whirl!!! (But then again you probalby figured that out!)

On a side note, you'll probably find you'll get a lot more responses to your Photo TR's if you upload the photos to the server. I know for me, my pop-up blocker went nuts every time I clicked on a photo. If you have any problems uploading photos to TPR, please let me know and I'll help you out.

But good TR! Hopefully more people will check it out!

I think the park has been doing well. I drive by it a lot during the summer and even on weekdays, their overflow lot is being used often (I would guess daily attendance is well under 1,000 but it's a very small park).

I would go once in a while even though it's geared towards little kids if the admission was less ($18 plus tax) especially since I need that credit (they were building it last time I was at the park)

Some of the rides at Storybook Lane are Bubbles The Coaster, Rock N' Tug, Tilt-A-Whirl, Train, small Ferris Wheel, Sleigh ride, Antique Cars, and a Merry-Go-Round. As far as I know, adults can ride everything. It's mostly geared towards children, but it can be fun for adults too, especially when they're open in December when no other parks in the area are.
