I actually really liked Demon Drop at Cedar Point, and when I went to GAdv two months ago this one was closed...sucks to see so many of these go, they're great rides! ALL the Six Flags First Generation Intamin Freefall rides are for sale at $100,000 a piece including spare parts and without warranty. Even so, Cedar Point did put Demon Drop up for sale last year, but there were no interested parties. Â But after seeing them all up for sale I new SFI wouldn't have them much longer. I just hope a park bought it and it will be reconstructed near by. I don't care what anybody says, I loved Freefall and it's still my favorite of the drop tower/freefall rides. It was the only kind that made my stomach feel like it was in my throat.
