FlyingScooter
Here's Cleveland Ohio at sunrise. It's so peaceful at that hour. All the crackheads are done zoning by that time. Of course, this is how it looks to the CrackHeads. My Hometown,

SLUSHIE
I come from a small town and there isn't any landmark in the town, so I'll just link a few pictures of some places I found on Google.  -The High School I graduated from. That picture is kinda weird becuase I guess it was taken when the school was new. That area is full of benches and there are a few fences and an Info Kiosk. Also the hills in the background are full of houses. Cool, I also found this news thing about the bomb threat we had. http://www.americanliberty.org/html/RocklinHighBombThreat.html  -Skate park Also an old picture. The park is covered with paint patches where they tried to cover up grafiti.  -Small town coffee shop. Haha that was funny... or not.  All the real stuff to do is in the next town over, so I'll post a few pics from there.  -Rose Sculpture Very old picture as it's not being blocked by buildings. It's suposed to look like a rose from overhead, but like most people, I've never seen it from that angle.  The area is growing. The closest town I can relate the Rocklin/Roseville area to is Irvine.  I should take some pictures myself sometime, as I cant find any online, and the ones I do are really old. The local waterpark. Kaentae
My home town is called Wokingham, it's a medium ish sized town, very typically english. Â Â The townhall is the main part of Wokingham, there's some small ish shops, but in the future hopefully we'll eventually get a shopping mall behind it.... coasters 4 me
This is my hometown Bangor, Northern Ireland. It is about 10mins outside Belfast City. There really isnt much too say about Bangor. It is quite a large town. Alot of shops, resturants and cafes etc. This is the only one I can find. I will try and get one with my camera.
Hicko
Here's were I live although originally I am from Nottingham. Â Milton Keynes is a new city and about 30 years ago it was all just fields. We also have our very own themepark albeit Gullivers World lol. Still it's currently being extended and there gonna build a junior wooden coaster to add to the credit already there Here is the outside of the Xscape building. The city is getting larger all the time and new things are being built. It's all in a massive grid system like what most of you are used to in the States although we have many roundabouts too. Here is the Indoor skislope which is in the Xscape building. It also has a Gym, Multiplex cinima, Restaurants, Bars, Shops etc. They are currently extending it and building an Indoor skydiving centre. The first in Europe apparently. robbalvey
The town I grew up in was called "Carson, California." When I was growing up, it was a brand new town and it was really nice. Nowadays it's only a couple of steps up from Compton, at least that's what I hear.  You can see the house I grew up in here, although google maps has the marker on the wrong place, it's actually the corner house:  http://maps.google.com/maps?q=23617+Archibald+Ave,+Carson,+CA+90745&spn=0.005903,0.009917&t=h&hl=en  There's not much to say about my 'hometown' other that it was quite plain and I didn't really spend much time there. My high school was in Torrance and I spent most of my time there and the Redondo Beach area.  Anyway, here's some random info about my hometown.... At least we had an Ikea! One of the first in the US! Carson was one of the few cities in California where Fireworks were legal at 4th of July (not sure if they are anymore) so we would light stuff on fire. I went to a Catholic School (which explains why I'm so messed up) and there was a nunnery there, so we had nuns. GemCo is where I got my Commodore 64, but thankfully, not from this dude! We had a "GemCo" store! Anyone remember these? Target eventually bought them out. The Fertilizer factory wasn't too far from our house, and YUM what a place it was! We have a "Muffler Man" and according to www.roadsideamerica.com that's a good thing! The olympic torch ran through in 1984. Didn't manage to burn anything down, though. Erik Johnson
I am a Gainesville, Florida native, and I still live there. Gainesville is mostly known for being the location of the University of Florida. It is also a city with many many trees. Â Â Look at all that green!!! Â http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Gainesville+Florida&ll=29.651510,-82.386818&spn=0.070011,0.117416&t=k&hl=en This is a picture of our street. Again notice all the trees. This is a picture of our house. Leonardo's Pizza.....yum!! This is the closest place to eat from my house. There are three of them in town. Another Lake Alice photo. This is the Baughman building which sits on Lake Alice. Many, many alligators live around here. This is a neat feature, our Bathouse. Every night at dusk you can see hundreds of bats fly out of here. This is The Devil's Millhopper, a neat ancient sinkhole in which you can walk to the bottom. It really looks more like North Carolina than Florida. WillMontu
Here are some more of Gainesville  The loudest stadium in the region (aka. the Swamp)  The Century Tower. I went up to the top once when the bells chimed.  We have two Wal-Marts (no supercenters yet!), a Kmart and a Target (the only one within 30 miles, and the one I work at)  We even have a Carrabas (this pic will do)
Erik Johnson
Cool, more Gainesville pictures. What department do you work at, maybe we will come and bother you at work, heh heh heh. TheGreatOne
The best picture that represents Akron, Ohio and surrounding areas.... Â Pretty much the crappiest place of all time. Everyone is ghetto (even white people think they are...but they're just trashy) or amish. The roads suck, the food sucks (except Amish food), "entertainment" sucks, shopping sucks, colleges suck, most high schools couldn't give you an education for anything. Â The only thing I care about in Akron was High School football. Schools in that area had a passion for the game. Heck, my school sucked, and we'd still draw 3500 people a game. My first game drew 10,500 people and was televised in Cleveland. I sort of miss the Midwestern friendliness though. Â In short, I'm glad I moved away from there last year. Anyone who lives there and likes it has never traveled anywhere outside of Cleveland, Detroit and Pittsburgh. Â Phoenix is much more progressive, I really like it. Sadly, I've never met so many unfriendly and ignorant people in my life. Natives blame people moving from California (I can see that), but the natives are the biggest jerks of all.
