IceDragon
once again, its possible, but it wont be in effect for a long time. as long as they're getting full loads, theyre happy
PKI Jizzman
I think I would rather have one regular B&M dive coaster in the US...otherwise, for the sit down dive coaster, it's only Oblivion left for now. I think its cool for Griffon the be floorless, but if Sheikra does become floorless, maybe it will be a better ride...but who knows...only time will tell. PKI Jizzman
well...I meant by looking at it.... G5 - http://www.rcdb.com/ig1417.htm?picture=14 Oblivion - http://www.rcdb.com/ig777.htm?picture=10 With or without a floor, it's no doubt that Sheikra will still be a top 10 ride. Loco
Well thats stupid! I think BGA should just keep their current trains that way both rides can be different and can offer a different riding experience.
Scaparri
^Yeah, but you have to keep in mind that they probably really don't care. Honestly, how many people in the general public go to both BG parks? Probably not a lot. It may sound like a waste of money, but when it comes down to it, its a gimmick. Its a way to draw more people in without making a huge investment on some brand new ride. And plus, given the nature of the ride and that it only has three rows per train, it probably will increase the experience quite a bit, at least in the eyes of the public. ginzo
With or without a floor, it's no doubt that Sheikra will still be a top 10 ride. I personally don't think Sheikra is all that great. I prefer Montu and Kumba, especially Montu. I still say why not about making it floorless. It could add something to the drop, especially if they hold you over the drop for another few seconds. BGA will probably advertise the new change too.
palavos3
If Sheikra goes floorless, will the trains be 8 across or 10 across?
BeemerBoy
^ I'm guessing 8. If you expand, then you have to take new clearance issues into consideration. I may be wrong, but I doubt the tunnel was originally designed to fit 10 across. Maybe it was? Eh, screw it....I don't know.
Gnome
they would also have to widen the station... so it will end up having 8.
fergusonat
I don't think it will be that much of an upgrade to merit shutting the ride down for modifications...seems like a huge waste
coreyml
Coming out of the immelman, the train gets close to the MCBR. I don't think that 10 across would fit.
