I pretty much already new what the new rides coming in would be, but what makes this expansion really awesome is the theme of the area! The concept art looks spectacular.

Great addition to this wonderful Missouri park!!! I only wish that they had gone for a record breaking S&S Tower... one can hope! The theming seems spectacular!

I love when SDC or Dollywood announces new attractions. They are always so well thought out and planned. I agree that Dollywood should add an S&S tower where Timber Tower once stood.

The first thing that came to my mind when reading this announcement was "I hope this means they'll get an S&S tower for Dollywood sometime soon as well!"

 

Looks like an awesome addition though, I really gotta get to this park soon.

Love the theming and the detail in the animations! I think this will be a great expansion. And it definitely makes me think that Dollywood will be adding a drop tower in the coming years!

I think that DW will get a drop/shot tower at some point as well, but keep in mind that the only reason this development has one is because it was left over from CC and they wanted to recycle it. The kiddie swings also originated from CC (they were moved to SDC in 2011 and will be moved once again into this new area). I've been told the Fire Wagon came from WA, can anyone confirm just so I'm sure? The balloons were actually original to SDC in 1989 but were removed to make way for the splash battle in 2008. I think the dalmatian ride and the kiddie tower are the only new rides here.

Great mix of rides & attractions, including something for all ages... gorgeous theming... nice setting on the lake... timeless theme that appeals to the target audience (kids in this case)... a strong weenie in the drop tower... this is all win!

My biggest question is fire in the hole: will it be considered part of fireman's landing, or is it too far away? Cause FitH fits in with the theme of Fireman's Landing.

I am so glad that the tower was saved! I never got to ride it and I was disappointed I didn't get to. Well now I can. looks like a good addition to SDC!
