downunder
current coastercount: 128 new coasters ridden this year: 7 Parkvisits: 9 Different parks: 6 parks (3 new) Park visited the most: Magic Mountain, Great Adventure, Movie World Aust (2 visits each) Most ridden wood coaster: El Toro (10 times) Most Ridden Steel Coaster: Tatsu (7 times) Highlights: El Toro (totally awesome), Superman Escape (Movie World, surprisingly impressive), Tatsu (best flyer ever), Kingda Ka (finally got the credit, not as good as TTD IMO). Gold Q-bot at Great Adventure - just brilliant Lowlights: X closed as usual, Magic Mountain and Great Adventure still suck in terms of guest experience. USRoadTripper
Thinking back, I had a better season than I thought I did! Current coaster count: 221 # of new coasters ridden for me: 58 # of new for 2006 coasters ridden: 4 Park visits: 22 (including one this weekend) Different parks visited: 18 New to me parks: 10 Park visited the most: SFMM, SFoG, Disneyland and Beech Bend all tie at 2 visits each Wood coaster ridden the most: Kentucky Rumbler Steel coaster ridden the most: Expedition Everest I guess...didn't keep track Stand-out memorable experiences: The TPR weekend in March was really awesome! I really enjoyed going to the Kentucky Rumbler media day, meeting Don and Monica at Holiday World and getting to hang with Mr. Quad-boob himself at SFoG. Spain was a fantastic trip all around, including the three theme park which were all beyond fantastic. And getting to meet Mike, Jahan, Guy and Alana at SFMM was really a blast too! Luckily my season isn't over yet, since I have one more trip to SFoG planned, as well as a week in Orlando. Won't be getting any new credits though (unless a gift from God brings me my SFoG Deja Vu credit!) Next year should be packed with coasters as well, since I have a trip across PA planned, as well as another trip back to SoCal, and at least one trip to Orlando. -Julie
coasterdude5
Mine was pretty good. Added alot of parks to my list (7) and added around 11 coasters to my list so it wasn't too bad. Next year will hopefully be better.
DailyBugle_JL
I had a long year, florida and Cali seem so long ago. - Coaster Count 147-150???? couple of carnie coasters that ive ridden. Around 70 new Creds in all Im not good at adding so ill leave it at that. - 8 new parks - only rode two of the 2006 coasters Goliath(SFOG) and Voyage - 3 lost items to coasters; my wallet, my cellphone, and one of my hats. Best Moment(1)riding GOLIATH 57 times the first day it opened. I got to meet Walter B of B&M this same day. (2) meeting, The Alveys and the Pope, all at the same time (3) Biggest accomplisment of the year goes to finally visiting Cedar Point after always wanting to go there as a kid. (4) got to see Xcelerator launch with people when it just started Hailing. That really had to suck for those people. Worst moments (1)goes to my dumb decision to walk from Disneyland Resort to Knotts at 7:00am. It looked so close on the maps. What should have been a 5-10 min drive turned out to be a 2.5 hour walk. (2) Driving hours out of the way to go ride Voyage only for that biznitch to be closed most of the morning and we had to leave by 1:00. The bastard finally opened and we only got one ride in. Rollerholden
I had a pretty good year. I went on my first out-of-state coaster trip, to Ohio for Cedar Point and Geauga Lake. We also went down to DLR / DCA for a few days. I had 2 nights of Fright Fest at SFMW. PS - I went credit whoring at Traintown in Sonoma!
lapseofreason
This year has been... average. As it always is. I think I got a whopping 4 credits this year (Tatsu, Deja Vu and Canyon Blaster at SFMM, and the West Coaster in Santa Monica). I visited THREE whole parks (woohoo!): Pacific Park in Santa Monica (which I shouldn't even count), I think we went to the Adventuredome in Vegas in January... and God, I think we've been to SFMM somewhere around 30 times this year alone. Maybe more. I lost count in May. In all, I need to hit more parks. At least if I really need a coaster fix this winter I can go to SFMM again. Bwahahaha. shesaidboom
My year started out great, but ended kind of badly. I got to go on two awesome road trips with Jer [307], as well as a few day trips to parks. We've been very lucky with not missing any credits in the past, but this year we missed quite a few due to parks failing at life and also crappy weather. Current coaster count: 206 [i know my signature says 204, but 2 coasters weren't listed on Coaster Fanatics] # of new coasters: 76 # of new for 2006 coasters: 2 # of parks visited: 17 # of new to me parks: 15 Park visted the most: Paramount Canada's Wonderland Wood coaster ridden the most: Avalanche [Timber Falls] Steel coaster ridden the most: Vortex [PCW] Favorite coasters of the year: Superman at SFNE, Voyage, Avalanche at Timber Falls, Batman at SFGam, Hades. Awesome experiences: Rainy but awesome day at Great Escape Meeting imboredisux at Holiday World while waiting for the Raven to be fixed Actually liking wood coasters for a change! The Orbiter at PCW opening back up There are tons more, but long lists are boring. Bad experiences: Lake Compost not opening for no reason at all! Missing the bobsled at Great Escape because of the rain La Ronde Wild Beast being ruined by horrible new wheels

niiicolaaah
Actually liking wood coasters for a change! Yeah, I had that experience this year too! Until this year, I was not a big fan of wood coasters cause most of what's around here is crap (except Silver Comet) - Minebuster, Wild Beast, Predator.
