live2tell75
Hello everyone! This past week Chuck (cfc) traveled down from "the Burg" to the hot and humid state of Florida and I came up from Tampa Bay, to do our version of "Road Rules Orlando" Since we were meeting up with the "TPR Real World Orlando" group we figured we would be the spin-off show: "Road Rules Orlando!" Chuck arrived on Wed. morning and our adventure began. We hit Busch Gardens Africa, Wet n'Wild, Islands of Adventure, Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom, Sea World Orlando, Adventure Island and Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Africa. 10 parks in 4 days! We were very busy and now are super exhausted! We had a great time meeting up with everyone. It was so good to see a lot of familar faces from the UK trip and meeting some great new peeps! So now onto the photos! Here is day one at Busch Gardens Africa. Enjoy! Chuck tells his new skelton buddy, he will see him in a couple of days for How-O-Scream! Next up Wet n' Wild! Shiekra is such an awesome ride! Going on Shiekra, made Chuck really excited about Griffon at Busch Gardens Europe next year. Time to cool off on the Stanley Falls Log Flume. I don't think anyone will miss the head banging of The Python! Had to pay our last respects to The Python. Chuck thought the "helix of death" was insane on the Scorpion! Chuck thought Rhino Rally was way to intense! Chuck and I were lucky, Rhino Rally was only a five minute wait! Hungry hungry hippos! I miss that game! Chuck made a new friend with a lion. Got to see the new baby gorilla. Aww how cute is that! I wasn't aware until we got to the park that Chuck was a BGA virgin. So we did a quick grand tour of the park, starting with the Myombe Reserve. live2tell75
Day 2: Wet n' Wild  So to cool off from the crazy heat and humidity we decided to checkout Wet n' Wild during the morning and early afternoon. Chuck had never been and I hadn't been for about 5 years. It was a blast! The park was pretty empty and we were able to hit mostly everything without a wait. Disco H20 was a new slide for me and it was groovy! A short ride but , wow, a steep drop in the dark and lots of lighting effects and thumping groovy disco music in the bowl section! Got to take a final ride on The Hydro Fighters. I will miss them, they are a lot of fun. Chuck and I really had the car swinging high in the air! Everything was great, only one complaint, too many speedos! And a thong is always wrong (except on really hot people!!). I will miss you Hydro Fighters, Damn you big Tornado Slide that is rumored to replace you by the end of the year. We really had our fighters swinging! A highlight of our visit was a ride on the Hydro Fighters! To bad Bomb Bay killed Chuck! So Chuck wanted to experience the thrill of a free fall slide. And Bomb Bay was just the slide to ride! The Bubba Tub, another family raft slide, looks innocent but actually moves pretty fast! I wish adults were allowed on the Bubble Up. It looks really fun! I really enjoyed the new tropical enhancments to the Lazy River. Chuck was brave enough to check out the Storm toilet bowl slides. The kid's water park section was cute, complete with a mini lazy river and wave pool. The Surge was a pretty cool family raft slide. A pretty long slide and we really hit the sides! Another new slide for me was The Blast. I used to love the Raging Rapids, but The Blast really moved! I thought Disco H2O was groovylicious! Chuck put on his oogie boogie woogie dancing flip flops on for Disco H2O. New for me was Disco H2O. What a great ride! One of my favorites of the day! First up, the always awesome Black Hole. Chuck and I are ready to cool off during a hot Florida day! Chuck thought the "Porn park", I mean Wet n' Wild was a lot of fun! Next up, IOA & HHN, stay tuned! live2tell75
Day 2: Part 2 Â So after Wet n' Wild, we took a nice rest at the hotel before heading over to Universal. We met up with Robb for a couple of rides at Islands of Adventure. Then met up with the rest of the "TPR Real World Orlando cast" at the Hard Rock Cafe entrance to the Studios. We then began our very awesome VIP tour. We started off checking out a Horror Nights museum full of props, designs and artifacts from the past 16 years of the event. Since I have gone to 13 of these events, this brought back a lot of memories. We also got to meet with one of the creaters of HHN. He was very informative and awesome to talk to. Next we were off to the Cafe Labamba for a pretty sweet buffet that was provided for us. Â After dinner, Karen our awesome tourguide, began our amazing VIP tour of HHN. Really loved all the houses, especially Psycho Path: The Return of Norman Bates. this brought back a lot of memories! This was the first Haunted House I ever did back in 94'. We got VIP front row seats for Bill and Ted which is always entertaining and "S-U-P-E-R!" Loved the scare zones especially Blood Masquarde, which had elements from one of my favorite houses: Castle Vampre from 04'. Jaws at night is always a highlight. Thanks to Robb and Elissa for hooking us up with such an amazing tour! And now onto the photos! The Dueling Dragon's were actually dueling today! Robb, you beter turn around and hold on for dear life! A new credit for Chuck, the always thrilling Flying Unicorn. We met up with Robb and enjoyed a few rides together like Spiderman. Chuck is terrified of what may happen tonight at Halloween Horror Nights.
live2tell75
More Universal Orlando Pics: Our tour guide, Karen was awesome! Joe enjoying our very cool buffet. After the museum, it was off to a buffet provised for us. Along the way we got to see some HHN charatcers from the past and see some of the Horror Comes Home show. Our group with one of the creaters of HHN (he's on the very cool Terra Queen bike from last year's event). A creater of HHN gave us a great look into the behind the scenes of the making of HHN. Got to love Jack. They even had all the event posters from the last 15 years, including my very first HHN in 1994. In front of one of my favorite icons: The Caretaker. Time to check out some cool HHN artifacts. Meeting up with the rest of the "TPR Real World Orlando" cast. Finally time to hit Halloween Horror Nights Sweet 16! Stay tuned! We both enjoyed the The Seas with Nemo. A very cool upgrade to the Living Seas pavilion. Also so we could get a few bites at the International Food and Wine Festival. After a few hours at Animal Kingdom we headed over to Epcot so Chuck could ride Mission Space and we could both checkout the new Nemo ride. Primevil Whirl was also a new credit for Chuck. CHuck beter move soon or the next coaster car is going to hit him in the head! We're ready to meet up with the yeti. Chuck will soon no longer be a Everest Virgin. Mickey and the gang came by boat to welcome us.

Time for a yummy dinner at Ohana's. 2 Eric(k) Johnsons in the same place, is that possible? Now that's scary! Looks like Carlos/Robin has been attacked by the villianious Robb monster! Ryan had some time on his hands to build a new invention. I would never do anything like that Mr. big scary chef guy. You want what to eat? You better eat every bite and I better not find anything on the floor or else! Me like food at Ohana's!

live2tell75
Day 4: Sea World Orlando and Adventure Island  On Sat. while the rest of the Real World Orlando group went to Cypress Gardens and Busch Gardens, Chuck and I checked out Sea World and Adventure Island. Chuck had never been to either park, and since they were on his Platnuim Pass, we had to make a visit. Both were a lot of fun. Adventure Island was nice and cool. We had such a crazy heat wave this last week! It figures, the weather is now nice, now that everyone has gone home. In the low 70's and no humidity! Got to cool off and ride some slides at Adventure Island. Next up: HOS! Stay tuned! Kraken was a hit with Chuck. I love the Beluga Whales! The Wild Artic is always a great place to cool off. Shark Encounter is always cool. Chuck and Kraken are now best buds. We didn't get wet enough on Journey To Atlantis, should have sat in the front!
