Guest
Flash forward three years... here's Cedar Point in 89... I remember riding the Magnum in its' first year. Cameras on board rides were obviously not a problem back then. Mill Race still was there... ridiculously long lines always for a lil' flume. I guess I've been a coaster geek forever... it was always either the front car or as near to the back as I could get... preferably the very BACK! Anyways, on to some photos... Guest
Does anyone else have any on-ride photos of defunct Cedar Point rides? It is strange to look back at these photos, especially the early ones with trees and more trees, and realize that they are only going to develop this park more and more from here. I do love Cedar Point, though... many a memory here. White Water Landing - Soon to be the loading station for "The New Ride". The Magnum is NOT defunct... but you can no longer take a camera on board as easily as we did back in 1990 whatever....
RaptorBoyASU
Those 1986 pictures are from the year of my first Cedar Point visit. Yah, there sure a lot less trees now, but there's sure a lot more exciting rides. I wish they had tried to keep a few more of the trees, but with the crowds the park draws in late summer, I understand why they widened the midways instead. scruffy
I saw some home movies of Cedar Point from 1960 to 1963. I am not sure if I can post the link. They do show alot of rides that are no longer at the park.

Carnage
Great old school pictures off the best coaster park ever. What? I didn't know there were old school pictures of DisneyWorld in this thread! Since when is Disney World considered the best coaster park? They do alot of things well, but I can think of many, many parks that have much better coaster lineups.
