dubaidave
I drove past Wonderland yesterday and spotted something exciting. I will post more as soon as something else happens. Here we have a Construction shot, Through the railings. Just need a Verticle loop in there and some boobs and it would be the best TPR pic ever. Mmmm, Curvey Theres a lto of track there These boxes say Wonder Park, no idea what that is Ooh it looks like track. But what is that next to it? The Rotoshake is at an odd angle

MSLSM
I'm not a fan of spinning coasters, but hopefully it is a nice little coaster. However I doubt a small family coaster can help the park survive once DubaiLand opens.
ECZenith
Was that rotoshake relocated from a US park? Perhaps Knott's? I believe they had the same theming on theirs.

Anyway, it's better then nothing!
dubaidave
^^ Â Yes that is the Rotoshake from Knotts. Not quite sure how Wonderland afforded it because the park is never very busy. Â They did have some rides last year that were owned by someone else and had a seperate cost to ride. Â The Spinning coaster looks very similar to the one that was at the Global Village last year so that may only be there temporaraly as well. Â Will try and get some updates later today. dubaidave
Here is an update from Today, Thursday I wont be able to get back there Til Sunday, so I would imagine it will be finished by then. They dont really seen to know where any of the bits should go. And they are moving the bits of track around. The Rotoshake is at a funny angle again. There was a lot of standing aroound and looking at the plans going on today. Something is finally happening on site.
dubaidave
Here are a few more Pics, with a bit of action this time. Cant say I`m to keen to ride this, after watching them atempt to pt it up. Then they lowered the track section. And Waving There was lots of pulling and shouting The guy on the right is sat on a strap hanging from a crane. They seemed to be having a little trouble placing this section. The structure is larger than I thought They are finally adding a bit of rack
dandaman
Do they not number their track pieces or something? Â Entertainment at its finest: coaster construction photos with people who seem to have no idea what they're doing. Thanks.

dubaidave
It certainly looks the same. Does anyone have any pics of the cars from Myrtle beach? I have a shot of one of the cars from Dubai and would be interested to see if its the same one.

dubaidave
I have a feeling that it is a touring mouse that was in Dubai last year for the shopping festival. It certainly looks like the same model though.
FLIPDUDE
Well, something tells me it's gonna take more to save this park from the evil clutches of Dubailand than a spinning wild mouse.
dubaidave
They have finally got quite a lot of track in place over the past few days. The Rotoshake still seems to be parked at a slightly jaunty angle. No topping off ceremony here.
