Coasterlicious
I searched for a topic like this and couldnt find any others, but sorry if this has been done recently. Anyways, what are some of your favorite views from a lift hill?.. I would have to say Millennium Force has an amazing view... with Lake Erie on the left and the entire park on the right.. I also think Magnum has an amazing view, over the waterpark and right up to the beach. And the turn at the top of Mantis has a great view of the front of the park. ( ok I know I sound like a CP fanboy but i actually just really do like those views, and I havent been to many other parks.) so ya, what are some of your favorites?. TheStig
The Voyage has an awsome view. You just see the first two hills coming out from the trees, then NOTHING ELSE! Its pretty cool because you really are diving into the woods, so yeah its cool. Colin C
Sean Menefee
The view from the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk's Giant Dipper.

ECZenith
Wildwood's The Great White comes to mind where all you see directly out in front of you is the Atlantic ocean. The Great Nor Easter (SLC) has an equally good view, maybe better since there's no floor or evac stairs.
Angry_Gumball
Giant Dipper and Hurricane have both great views but SFMW's Medusa offers quite a view as well...you can check out that old parking spot you parked at a few seasons back as well as the freeway and the park's entry plaza...not too much else. easytoremember
My Favotiye has to be Millenium Force, Then Shiekra. Does anyone else notice that the views from millenium and SROS at SFNE are earily alike? ( i just noticed the*bad* pun)
benzo41190
On Millenium Forces drop you can actually see fish in the water! I really like the view of Hades lift....you can see the whole Dells area and Avalanche Another good one is Phantoms Revenge where you can see the city! sixflagsmagicmountain
I know it's not the nicest view, but X at sfmm gives a great view of the whole park.
yankees15
I really like the view on El Toro. When you go around the turn at the top it really shows how tall Kingda Ka is. I also really like Lightning Racer's (Thunder) view. If you look to your right you see the whole layout and the rest of the park.
Jumboshrmp
Sheikra, Montu, and Kraken. These three coasters come up a lot. Sheikra has a great view at the top (it feels like the entire structure is going to blow over, but thats because I'm still not used to heights, but I'm beginning to like them). Kraken has an awesome view over the lake. And Montu is cool because it seems so much higher than it is because you can see the cars.
AllenA07
I'll throw in a vote for Desperado. I know it's not the tallest and the fact is there is little to look at from up there, however very few rides give the same sense of sheer height... And no matter how many times I've been on it, that tunnel at the bottom is always far smaller than the train.
thomas2
Silver Star: you can see the landscape with all the little german villages and the mountains of the Black Forest in the distance
Electerik
While I agree with Millennium Force, Desperado, and a few others, let me just add.... The Hoosier Hurricane at Indiana Beach. Bonus answer: The Flying Uniorn at IOA!
jamesdillaman
I believe sandusky bay is on the left as you crest milennium force, but I could be wrong. Lake Erie is on the other side of the park, the Wicked Twister/Magnum side. And I agree on Hoosier Hurricane. Great view. -James Dillaman

HCOSurfer90
I would have to say The Dragon at Rye Playland in NY. I love the view of the entire park and the Long Island Sound from the top of its lift.
vjgx
^Definitely a good view from a good old woodie... The last time I was at Playland, it was on July 4th in the evening. On my 5th and last ride on it, I saw the fireworks on Long Island from the top of the lift hill...
SharkTums
Medusa at SFGAd used to have the best view... Watching the monkey's tear apart the cars on the safari was priceless! I hear now they have fenced them in...lame!
DATman
I just love how on X's lift you see yourself going above Viper, which really freaks some people out. I love the view from Whirlwind at Seabreeze. You get a great view of the park, waterpark, and Lake Ontario. It's especially awesome at sunset! RCfanatic
Walibi Belgium's Boomerang (Cobra) provides a great view of the inside of Aqualibi (the indoor waterpark), its not an "OMG i can see my house from here" kind of view but i always enjoy watching those slides in action.
