rcoasters
Well, it sure was a sad day yesterday I'm pretty shocked about it, it shows that those kind of things can happen anywhere.
roasted_marshmallow
20 people shot, one died and the shooter was killed by police. a number are listed in very critical condition. The shooter was a member of vampirefreaks.com... this may not mean a lot to you guys, but here in Alberta in Medicine Hat actually, and 13 year old girl met and started dating a 20 year old male both from the site, though they both claim they met at a concert. The young male then allegedly convinced the girl to kill her entire family. Now, I'm not a rocket scientist, and I know not all goths are like this, but it seems to me that people on that site are not paying attention to the cries for attention of their members. A truely horrible and senseless tragedy that could have been avoided had someone cared to stop and report this man who said he wanted to go down in a hail of bullets. the sound
Saw a quick newsflash on the news, but i didn't realise it was at a school. I thought it was like what happened at Quebec City a few years ago.

Satoshi
I dunno why some bad guys kill strangers. Very sad with it coz that real brings me back of 99's colombine style random shooting yes 13 guys then got shot to death are sucking. Why do the guns not get banned in its place Canada. The US does that as well though.
Carnage
Whydo the guns not get banned in its place Canada. The US does that as well though. Guns aren't banned in the US. It's called "the right to bare arms". Ban or no ban, people will still get their hands on guns and shoot people.
FlyingScooter
^I agree completely. Street gangs, for example, are packing more fire-power than your average SWAT team. Those weapons are not legal, but they have them and continually get them. my sympathies to the families...
rcoasters
Well, the guns that the guy had on him were all registered legally, so they were legal ! Now, the government is thinking about if they should establish new rules about firearms or not. The gun he used was legal so, anyone of at least 18 years old and a firearm permit can go pick one up...
ECZenith
While I don't condone gun violence, making guns completely illegal would just mean more people would be killed by a knife instead. I can't believe I haven't heard about this on the news yet, there still yammering on about Dubya.
DATman
Like emo times 27. Except that emo people are fake. Seriously though, I have never been able to comprehend how anyone can kill, no matter the circumstances. I mean, would you kill your freinds? No. So why would you kill anyone else? It's not like they don't matter. I mean, they have a story behind themselves too, though you may not know it. They are connected to others in the same ways you are connected to your loved ones, so how can you destroy them? I feel the same way about war... Calaway Park
Like emo times 27. Except that emo people are fake. Not all of them. I've done some emo-esque things, and I had a reason.
