Carnage
^ That's an optical illusion. Those two sections of track are much further away than that picture makes it seem.
Milkchan
^ I Knew that, i was just kidding. Also do all roller coaster launchs go upwards?
goleafsgo
i never liked that thinned out version of itamin track. makes it look like a kiddie coaster.
FeelTheFORCE
^ If you mean on a slight slope like that straightaway then yes because if they rollback they need to be able to roll into launch position, because if the track was flat the train would stop and would need pushed. FeelTheFORCE
i never liked that thinned out version of itamin track. makes it look like a kiddie coaster. Yea I always thought the same thing. But I would probably use it also because its probably a LOT cheaper.
Carnage
Funny I never thougth the S:ROS's ever looked or felt like a kiddy coaster.
DarkStitch626
Well on SROS the reason for the bi-rail instead of quad rail system for the ending turns its a less stress factor area than say the first drops bottom half so less stress areas don't need quad track, it just means slower speeds in that given area. PS ITS OFFICIAL! We have the first drive through coaster! http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=5478 the small flat section by the building its a stop and order area! coasterbadboy
How many launch sections would it require to hold the record for most launches on a coaster? 3?
Carnage
^ If you want to get techical Wicked Twiser has 5 launches.

DarkStitch626
Carnage but he means individual like sections going in 1 direction Impulse coasters technically have 5 on 1 single "section" of track..
matteocrepaldi
I think that he meant on different tracks. I would say 4 because the Italian Job coasters have 3 launches.
coasterbadboy
Just a crazy thought, that's all. The quest for answers continues...
Astat
I think that he meant on different tracks. I would say 4 because the Italian Job coasters have 3 launches. You know, it says on RCDB that they have 3 but after riding one I can tell you there's only 2, the initial one and the one after the helicopter shoots at you. Carnage
^ There is supposed to be one as you exit the tunnel. But I'm not sure if it was ever actually used. Just like there was supposed to be fish tailing and vibrations as you go down the strairs.
Guest
I don't like the two-rail-track either. And I also don't like the transitions between 2 and 3 rail track. Same goes for the 4-rail-track. But the most important thing is that the ride's good. If I want to see a nice looking coaster I'll take a look at a B&M-coaster Robert

coasterfreak101
^^The one as you exit the tunnel is just more of a booster, but I guess they can count it because it "boosts," or launches out of the tunnel. But I don't feel the boost, so I coudn't tell ya if it was on. --Tyler "Hey, can I get a large fry..." H. *EDIT: Now, is anyone able to tell what type of launch it will be by the track placed? Just curious.

coastakid
I hope this thing is a great coaster, and not a trick pony, but by the looks of it, it isn't (so far...)
Jive
What's a trick pony? I certainly hope that it's not a pony of the night.
Carnage
^ That should have read "one trick pony". Or basically a ride that really only does one thing, like TTD.
jamesdillaman
First off, just FYI, the phrase is one-trick pony, not trick pony. That out of the way, There's only a week left, so all the fanboys will be dissapointed soon enough. The most inversions or not, it'll be good. -James Dillaman EDIT: Everyone beat me to it, damn slow internet cafe connection!
