Nitro1118
Anyway, so Valravn's almost done. Also, Skull Mountain looks cool. Wonder if Cedar Point would want to buy it. And where'd that boat go? You can have Skull Mountain if you send us Maverick, TTD's trains, and TGI Friday's. We get to keep the Skull Mountain pumpkin, though.
drummermattk
If the construction crew keeps hauling major @$$ they could get trackwork done today or tomorrow! I tip my hat to you sirs

As the founder/CEO/chairman of The Cult, I approve of this trade, minus the Friday's, but plus a Chickie & Pete's.

njcoasterguy34
They're hauling some serious butt with the construction of this coaster.

drummermattk
4 pieces left to go! Tony said it first!
CoasterLine
Technically 5 left. There is one segment on site, 4 in staging. Judging by the average, and the remaining support configuration, we'll probably see two more segments lifted today (which will span to the next support beam), and the remaining 3 pieces lifted either Wednesday or Thursday (depending on weather). DoinItForTheFame
I wouldn't be surprised if they finished the coaster today. They have already made a lot of progress for the day!
CP Maverick
Let's be honest... anyone stupid enough to jump a fence under an operating inverted coaster isn't smart enough to read the signs posted on the fence, and changing the wording of the signs wouldn't change his decision to jump. And no, I'm not saying that as "I'm smarter or better than him." And what rock solid empirical evidence are you basing that on? We trust people's intelligence enough to have signs that say "CAUTION: WET FLOOR" rather than "CAUTION: WALK SLOW HERE". I could very easily see someone thinking to themselves "Ok, restricted area, well I'll just be quick and no one will catch me." Train of thought might go a little differently if the warning was more explicit. People ignore wet floor signs and closed/roped off areas all the time. What makes you think different language trumps the ignore function built into people's brains? If someone doesn't see the threat/consequences, a sign won't change that. neil009
^It's a suspended coaster, and the track doesn't look that low to the ground, so the danger isn't as obvious, hence the argument for making it more obvious.
boldikus
Guys, no one is going to win the fence debate. And Cedar Fair does not care about what any of us think.
thrillrider
If you're dumb enough to jump ANY fence surrounding a Rollercoaster, than you deserve whatever happens to you regardless of what/ how many signs there are. End of discussion.

CP Maverick
Looks like at least two more will go in place today. That leaves 2 left, which they can power through late in the day or early tomorrow.

CoasterDirected
I'm not going to be to critical but that airtime hill is either gonna give a really good pop of floater or none at all like the Gatekeeper hill, I'm hoping for the first.
DoinItForTheFame
^ I've determined that my partner and I are the only ones who have ever gotten floater time on Gatekeepers "airtime" hill. Granted it wasnt mind blowing floater time, but in the front row it is noticeable floater.
thrillrider
I wonder if the go carts will be totally removed this year, or just sit vacant.

I've gotten some decent floater air about 90% of the time I ride it
WOFanatic
I wonder if the go carts will be totally removed this year, or just sit vacant. Go Carts are really easy to remove, so I'm guessing yes. I remember when WOF removed theirs to build Steelhawk, it only took about a week.
