asr
The closest city on that list too me is Boston, at #39. However, I live in the middle of nowhere out in Western Mass, and the nearest city to me is... There isn't quite one really the closest would be Springfield like 1 1/2 or 2 hours away. TheStig
The fact that NY, NY is nowhere on that list is amusing. Colin C
HCOSurfer90
^Actually I remember a few months ago, a person who worked for a magazine or website went around the world finding the most well mannered cities. It turns out NYC was the #1 most well mannered city out of all the cities they went to (They went to cities such as London, Paris, Rome, Tokyo, etc.). They stated that New Yorkers held open doors more, picked up papers that fell more, and did favors more than any other city they had been to. Ironic isnt it? Sir Clinksalot
I still don't get how LA is #36. I spent a week in Atlanta last year and people there couldn't have been nicer. I get to spend a week in Indy in 3 weeks, hopefully they won't be angry with me.

PhishyBrewer
How the hell is San Diego in that list? Seriously, if someone makes you mad all you have to do is say three simple letters, "INS!"
apollo210
Boston is 39th and should be way higher! MAKES ME REALLY ANGRY!
ScOtT k
Not that I've been to most of those cities, but from an outsiders uneducated and stereotypical view, I'm surprised New York isn't on there. Traffic would make me mad. Ney York has tons of trains and subways. You don't have to go far to catch a train. Traffic really isn't that terrible there. LA is much worse.
