Rollerholden
S:UE was always my favorite Impulse, I'm wondering why some of you posted that you don't like it? I think I've been on all of them. I've been on V2 (SFMW), Wicked Twister, and Steel Venom (S:UF) and for some reason the initial launch on SV didn't seem smooth to me, and the holding breaks were killer. niiicolaaah
Topless Ted = Hot! Sea of Humanity = Insane Great TR, I don't think I would have been able to put up with the park being that crowded. I would have taken one look and ran away screaming. Geauga Lake is one of those parks I've always wanted to visit, but never get around to visiting. None of the coasters look like anything special, so I don't really know why I want to go there. But I do! hehe.
CoasterFanatic
^ I don't think we even realized how crowded it was until I started to take pictures. When we got there at 10:45, there was about 30 people in the waterpark. Obviously, those numbers increased over the course of the day. To fairly rate the coasters, I will put them in this order from best to worst. 1) Big Dipper (Running pretty smooth with some healthy air on most hills) 2) Dominator (Stick towards the front. The back is rougher than you would expect from a B&M) 3) X-Flight (Call me bizarre, but I actually prefer these to the Superman genre. Air is still my fave) 4) Thunderhawk (Sure it is an SLC ... but it isn't half bad) 5) Superman (Not a big fan of this genre, but at Geauga Lake there is much worse) 6) Head Spin (Pretty average Boomerang) 7) Beaver Land Mine Train (Typical Tivoli, but at least it doesn't hurt) 8) Raging Wolf Bobs (Much smoother than a couple years back, but still could benefit from some PTC love) 9) Villian (Steel structure + CCI + G-train = Crap!) No ranking for Double Loop because I haven't rode it in about 10 years, but it is pretty much what you would expect.

It's kinda strange...the park walkways were crowded, but the lines for the coasters were pretty much either walk-on or a two train wait max! The waterpark on the other hand....well, I'm glad we rode the slides & stuff early in the day and spent the rest picking on kids and making fun of their parents in the wave pool! mcjaco
Wow, that waterpark looked insanely busy! I would almost give the credit to Cedar Fair (because Dorney's waterpark is one of my favorites!) but most of the slides were Six Flags doing! S:UE was always my favorite Impulse, I'm wondering why some of you posted that you don't like it? I think I've been on all of them. I loved Steel Venom. The first three rides (back in June) were smooth and fast. The holding break was not bad at all. The last ride was a little rougher on the holding break. I've only been on two Impulses (V2 at SFGAm and SV), but I thought this one was much better.
ECZenith
I've only been on WT and SV and prefer Twister, I guess I like the second spiral better than the holding brake. Not to mention the fact that Twister is on a beach. Both are very cool rides, though. An impulse on top of a tall building would be awesome, the ride is all about visuals.
