DarkStitch626
Well to note that was the first image ever released of Two-face. Its a conceptual art. When you see him on screen its mostly very good make up for once. We all remember Tommy Lee Jones version but its been a well known fact he tried to be more of the comic relief when he did it but this new one Nolan handed Heath and Aaron comic books and said "do your best to make the character" . Heath locked himself up in a hotel room with no contact aside from food etc, for a month to read 2 comic books and write a journal on the character, Aaron though, he even calls his character "gross" in an interview. Bucket
WOW! Â That's how I always imagined Two/Face to look like! Tommy Lee Jones as Two/Face was a joke (in terms of aesthetic makeup and acting) and I'm pretty optimistic that Aaron Eckhart will do a much better job! Â I'm getting more and more excited with each new picture/trailer about the upcoming Batman film. I'm so glad they are re-inventing the whole franchise. Batman Begins was probably the best Batman movie made and from the looks of this new one, it'll be as good (if not better) than the original film. I can't wait for the Dark Knight! I'll be there opening day!
Wes
^ Batman was always VERY dark. Â Not entirely true. The comic book was somewhat dark when it started, but became fairly campy. It wasn't until The Dark Knight Returns graphic novel (mid-80's) that Batman got the tone these movies are using. This movie especially seems to be borrowing heavily from "The Long Halloween" story line, especially the Harvey Dent/Two-Face stuff.
Erik Johnson
^^ This is especially true what the Joker does to Barbara Gordon/Batgirl and Commissioner Gordon in the Killing Joke.

ttd rox
DANG! This is turning out to be more of a horror movie... Who ever thought Batman would become of this?!?!  I thought the same thing! The 1990's joker was more funny looking like a joker. Now this joker all creepy looking and 2 face is just disgusting looking especially with that muscle looking thing going in front of his teeth. That's just plain nasty!

Those are the ones I read in the 90's in high school, so these movies are bit more meaningful for me.
dr.gumbo
I think I prefered the style Tim Burton used for Batman, the dark but not too serious one. I think all the films after them have been a bit too serious or not serious enought . I have nothing against Batman Begins, thats the best of the lot. I just thought Burtons 'style' was better. Â Onto this film, I think it could be the best Batman film ever made, but I can't see any of my brothers wanting to watch it. It looks far too scary. DarkStitch626
Funny how Heath Ledger borrowed some ideas from "Clock work orange" to get his Joker just right. he used ideas from Alexander Delarge how ever you spell his name.
SixFlagsTexas
12 new clips have debuted for the Dark Knight. You can view them here... (spoilers) Â http://www.iesb.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=5143&Itemid=99 Â Clips 8 and 12 involve the Joker. Keep in mind that some of these clips have been edited, as you will clearly see in clip 12. Â I have to say, all the acting performances in this movie is the best I have ever seen for a superhero movie.

DarkStitch626
Well I got my Midnight premier Tickets and Imax tickets already. I am a happy camper. One thing I did find interesting in movie facts is that the Batmobile is actually under some military contract, they want to use it in the american military now... Yankee cannonball
going way back to the first reply about jack black, he couldn't pull off Joker. He's a great actor, but when you see his face your brain registers that someones gonna make a fart joke.
DarkStitch626
LOL Yea really Craig, thats the truth plain and simple. Or you expect him to whip out a guitar to sing about the most awkward thing ever. . I also hate to say it but Jack Black isn't the perfect body type for the role either.
carolinacaniac
Oh, what a great film this is looking to become. Melissa and I saw the most recent trailer when we saw Wanted last night, and I have to say the seeing these trailers on the computer did it no justice. I think the big screen will be the best way to see this movie.

socalMAN123
So I read "The Long Halloween" today. A great chapter in the Batman story, really does introduce some of the stuff that will happen in Dark Knight. Can't wait, only one week to go! ---Brent
