Photo TR: Don, Monica, & Yankee's DC Area Trip

**Busch Gardens Europe & Paramount's Kings Dominion on Page 3**

Hey guys, we finally managed to secure a wireless connection, so I can finally post the first batch of photos from our trip. We're currently outside of Fredricksburg, Virgina at a KOA for a couple of nights. So far, I hit Knoebels by myself on Monday, then on Tuesday we did SFGAdv, and today we just walked around DC.

So far the trip has been a blast and it's a lot more fun to camp compared to staying at a hotel which is a whole lot more expensive.

Anyway, here's the first batch of photos

The folks at work today were just talking about how close we live to DC and that we always complain that there's nothing to do. I still have not visited the WWII memorial or seen the pandas. And I probably won't until fall, damn this heat. The heat index today was 115!!

yeah, Clementon would be a park to pull crap like that... they suck. At least you saved yourself a wasted $22

If you go after 5 it's only 14bucks Great TR I like the Super-Troopers moment with the maple syrup, and Flying turns looks awesome.

Wow, I bet the pandas feel right at home in those fantastic looking surroundings. The wallpapered box made to look like China's countryside was just too realistic for me. I'm assuming there's more to their habitat, and they were in that room due to the extreme heat?

Nice TR!

Your Cesaris Pizza certainly looks better than the slop you were served at PPP last year.

Didn't know you were the camping type. You should try to camp up on the hill this year at PPP.

Yeah, that's what my plan for PPP this year, is to camp out. My friends Kyle and Matty should be joining me for PPP.

Is it just me or does Don have pointy ears?

Excellent TR, funny stuff.

About the pandas...

They had a big exhibit when I went a few years ago and they must have that indoor area for the purpose you mentioned. It was so cool seeing them up close. A lot of people will never get to see them.

^ They're right in the middle of building a HUGE "Asia walk" area that will be panda-tastic when it opens. For now they can enjoy their concrete cells!

We had an awesome day at BGE and KD, crowds were so light. Still, I was denied my Taxi Jam credit AGAIN...

I got to ride mini-Dodonpa though finally...and it really sucks. What happened? It's basically a third of the size and runs backwards but it's not fun at all! Maybe these only work in Japan?

Make with the new pics already Craig! LOL

Alright, I am finally able to upload the last update now since TPR was giving me issues in trying to upload photos the past attempts.

Anyway, the last parks we hit were Busch Gardens Europe & Paramount's Kings Dominion. BGE had a great atmosphere and since it was a hot day, they had free water available everywhere. They even rolled out water coolers so passing patrons can get a cup of water.

Paramount's Kings Dominion was another nice park that we hit after BGE, I wasn't able to get all the credits since it was hot and I was really tired. The only coaster I really liked there was Volcano. Two of the woodies were too violent for me, and don't get me started on Hypersonic XLC. Luckly the crowds were very light so I didn't wait long for this coaster. The only good points were the launch and the accent, but there was a point where my head was thrown back into the headrest giving me a nice headache, and after that was just shaking and hard brakes. ugh.

Anyway, here are the photos
