That's it! Universal is already trying to capitalize one their agreement with bungee by building a Halo themed ride. But when they pulled out of the agreement they decided that they would theme this to Hollywood dream instead of halo. I'm a genius!

lexington
The seats look awesome, a bit different from the usual train.
kayoss
This seems to be the most popular theme park, well, anywhere in the world. Not a single time have I seen a picture of the attraction board which sported less then 2 hour waiting times for ANYTHING. Is there ANY time optimal to visit this park? My last visit, I was there 5 hours and got to go on a single ride.
SharkTums
Dan, Robb, and myself went in September of 2004 for about 90 minutes before close and got on the Kiddie Coaster, Spiderman, Jaws, and Jurassic Park. They have an Express system and single rider lines on some stuff.
Gutterflower
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YooY05b0fo8&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eusj%2Di%2Enet%2F this is a link to an extremely poor video of it testing lol but at least we know its testing. Edit: http://www.usj-i.net/cgi-bin/mtbbs/sr2_bbs.cgi?action=showlast&cat=&txtnumber=log&next_page=8&t_type=normal&mynum= Check the odd photos out on here. There is currently a box round the MCBR and screens round the station run. There is also a better testing video here http://www.usj-i.net/movies/2007/hdrtest/ This one only works in IE for me :S
stormrider
Yeah! I love that B&M roar that it produces. And that box around the MCBR is something is a nice touch to make a boring section of track more interesting.
matteocrepaldi
The sound is nice. It looks pretty fast. Can't wait to see a clear picture of the train.
Jhcbiinoc
I couldn't get the second video to work in IE or Firefox until I found the source file name. Here is the direct link to that video: www.usj-i.net/movies/2007/hdrtest/hdr_testtrack.wmv Looks like a pretty decent ride!

obeygiant
Looks awesome! I think the pick your own soundtrack thing is a very cool and smart idea! I've always thought that would just make a coaster 10000 times better! Why can't more parks in the US have that?? And I really think it's time Universal Orlando gets a new ride...and please no more kiddie Suess Landing rides (eventhough they still may count as credits )

And I really think it's time Universal Orlando gets a new ride...and please no more kiddie Suess Landing rides (eventhough they still may count as credits ) I think Universal have just taken the Disney system but made it about 100 times better. I can imagine that the whole ride has cost alot more with wiring and the complexities of having a variable sound system. Not to mention that B&M coasters aren't cheap. Their supports are the most expensive to buy I think because of the quality. I agree that these types of rides would be awesome. I have faith in the Japanese that they will press the buttons softly and keep the sound system running as often as they can... If it was in an American park the buttons would break in a day and the speakers would be filled with chewing gum. Sad to say but it's probably true! dr.gumbo
This ride looks fantastic at night and in my opinion looks like the best looking ride at night in the world. All the park needs is a Revenge of the Mummy and it will be the best Universal park ever (apart from IOA) Wish we had more hypers in England thought, stupid height restrictions
ECZenith
Wow, this thing looks awesome at night! Thanks for sharing the video. Between this and Heartbeat I'd say a trip to Japan is definately in the cards within a couple years.
arrowfanman
I too have to chime in and say this ride looks great at night! Looks sort of out-of-place during the day, but at night...wow! The "shooting-star" effect was pulled off quite nicely. I love to see that Universal shuffles out the money to push B&M coasters beyond their off-the-shelf potential. -Jahan
dr.gumbo
I love to see that Universal shuffles out the money to push B&M coasters beyond their off-the-shelf potential. -Jahan Universal and Busch are the only companys bothering to buy them at the moment and still we have a grand total of only two new confirmed B&Ms this year
stormrider
That's exactly how I feel about them doing something above the off the shelf B&Ms. It's nice to see that they were able to get B&M to do things they haven't done before (even Vekoma has made more cusom modifications to trains/themes) with the trains, even the supports are a change. I especially like that mysterious feeling that happens when the train charges into that dark tunnel near the end of the ride (like when the train of Expedition Everest comes down and turns around into the side of the mountain). Sad to say but it's probably true! Haha ok, you got us there..You are most likely right...that is sadly EXACTLY what they would look like! If not, worse!
