Personally, I'm kind of bummed that Blake's "Goat Encounter" didn't place in the top 20, and that actually suprised me, but oh well....

Ok, everyone...now this is open for your discussion.....

wow, I expected the "Don't Look Down" video to compete a lot higher, but I can't complain too much, because it might have knocked my vid out of the TPR top five! Much love to Robb and Elissa for organizing this, and to all the judges for the apparently flattering votes.

For me, it was either Paul Ruiz or the "Don't Look Down" vid, so I'm definitely not bummed about the winner.

Congratulations to everyone who entered! Now I gotta start wracking for ideas for next year's contest!

YAY!

EDIT:

Hmmm... Runners Up get two TPR vids of their choice... now I gotta see if I'm actually missing any of the vids! They're prolly the coaster footage vids from the first couple of seasons or something.

Or maybe I'll ask for a DVD version of the two TPR vids I have on VCR... haha, this definitely cheered me up.

Yay! I actually voted properly this year, making very careful choices, having watched every video. There were some really great entries, and it was hard to choose.

One of my choices was Justin Saxe's Silverwood entry. Great editing, and I really love "Sing, Sing, Sing", so I had a lot of fun watching that.

I'm happy with the number 1 though, as that was also in my top three - great work from Paul.

Robb, I have a video of Thorpe Park from 2005. Would it be permitted for inclusion next year? Just wondering. Some people have told me it's good enough to go in.

Man, I wish Mueller's video would have ranked higher. He did an awesome job editing it and his camera has great quality. It was a very good 16:9 video and my personal favorite!

No offense to any of the editors but honestly, Tom's video gave me more "WOW" than Miguel's. I guess Miguel's had better use of original acting.

Anyways, good job everyone for the hard work and entertaining footage.

, but next year I think I will do better, Im shooting for 18th place now!

That's my spot, back off!!

Congrats to everyone. I don't think I'll be entering next year either. Just not enough decent footage.

I think the greatest challenge would be to aim for exactly 20th place, no higher, no lower.

Congrats to the winners! Very well done.

I flaked out and forgot to vote, so I can't really complain, but I must say I was a bit surprised that Mark Owens' Busch Gardens video didn't place higher. I thought it was very well executed. Oh well, just like any international competition these days, the Americans must be allergic to the gold medal.

Well, I am bringing up the rear. Oh well, next year, I must put donkeys, McDonald's, rodents, and Robb's butt crack in the video!

You put Robb's ass in there and I will DEFINITELY vote you last.

(don't bother putting your own either )

I have a shot of Elissa's butt crack somewhere.

Thanks to everyone who voted and the TPR crew! This contest is always a good one and it just keeps getting better. The entries this year were awesomefied and really fun to watch!

We have a great idea for a vid made exclusively for the contest next year. We need to get to work on that... along with finishing up about a million more vids for Whootah.com.

WHOOT!
