TheArchfiend
Thats from a few years back in Japan if I rememeber correctly. The peeps got stuck on the ride and had to be removed with the cherry-picker. Unfortunantly, the ride decided to drop back down to Earth while the riders were being removed. Good times were not had by all on this day. Also, almost every net posting of this video calls this a "roller coaster". Now, I'm not a roller coaster engineer but I think thats not a roller coaster. Shame on them for slandering the holy name of roller coaster!

The Angry Darren Mullins
That is actually a space shot ride called the Sun Drop at Riverside Parkland in a town called Seocheon on the west coast of South Korea. I have visited this park and there is no coaster there. The report is in Japanese. I have seen two of these Sun Drop towers in Korea. The other one is at Beachland on Wolmido Island near Incheon. Despite these two being in Korea and being the only ones I have ever laid eyes on, I have a good reason to believe they are not Korean made as if they were, then more parks in Korea would have one. Chadley
I know I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but I don't believe anybody died, but there were some pretty bad injuries. There's never a time I've seen that video where I didn't cringe.

The Angry Darren Mullins
Nobody died in this accident, but the two rescue workers that fell were seriously injured.
