hybridcoaster
Does Six Flags Great Adventure have a policy that states you cannot bring cameras onto their rides. I have read that they didn't and just wanted to have that clarified. I was also wondering if Six Flags America had a policy like that or not. Thanks
TheArchfiend
Yup, they sure do... CAMERAS - For safety reasons, cameras are forbidden on all rides except the Big Wheel, Sky Ride and Carousel. You'd think they didn't mind at all if you look at the onride photos that come back with cameras on every tenth persons hand. rjholla2003
They have been busting a lot of people for taking cameras on rides, so don't.
benzo41190
is it just me or did the NJ ride laws change? Wasnt it like 2-3 years ago that there were no policies on any rides? Have you seen the TPR Photo Trip 2003 of SFGAdv...it even says there were no policies.
roryy
I looked at SFOG's policies, and they have a different list. I suppose someone different updates them.
rjholla2003
I don't know if it was a recent change in the law, but it's against the law for a park guest to have a video camera, or knowingly carry any loose article that may harm other riders should it come free, onto a ride. Other than the mentioned rides of course.

That sign has nothing to do with anything in my opinion. Just state law BS. just like Cedar Fair doesn't have a sign about line jumping, but then in the park map it has in big letters "line jumping is not a sporting event"
benzo41190
Ok read this Photo page... http://www.themeparkreview.com/ppp03/sfgadv/sfgadv1.htm It even says.. Note to the witch hunters: Robb, has his camera in hand, blatantly out in the open, and this was checked and 'ok'ed by the ride ops all weekend at SFGAdv! rjholla2003
That doesn't mean that it is legal or that park management fully approves. He just ran into nice ride-ops that weekend.
SharkTums
So every ride op letting us, nothing on the rules signs, and this on repeated visits, not just with us = They don't allow cameras??? Interesting!
