coasterguy4
ARGH. FINALLY SOME GOOD NEWS. ZAC SPIN YES. Â Great news for the Mountain, cannot wait! Â edit: Superman goes WAY up the tower. Is that just wishful thinking? Edited October 14, 2010 by coasterguy4
cooksta77
I'm no expert but when would we see construction for The Green Lantern begin for next year?
themeparkman25
^I can't imagine it takes very long to put one up. I mean, there are only four real footers anyways. Does anyone recall how long it took to put up Insane?
cal1br3tto
Wow! Â Is there any chance this isn't true? (I'm not too good at evaluating stuff like this, so sorry if that's a dumb question.) If it is true, I look forward to the official announcement! Â With this news, I'll definitely try my best to get down there again next year! thrillgeek
Jizzed in my pants! I just got back from SFMM not too long ago. Gotta plan yet another trip for next year now. lol.
CHILLERLC1
Wait a minute: the park already has a 4d coaster. This Zacspin is like marrying X2 and Flashback together.
mr. cockblock
This is GREAT news! Beyond excited! Â Not too familiar with the Zac Spin coasters but they look very fun! I dont know why but I am super excited with the Superman transformation, love the name and can't wait to see the skyline after the tower gets painted with its great new colors. Â Is it 2011 yet? Dietcokevan
Ok that Superman repaint is probably going to be rather ugly. Probably was bolded because I don't know how it will look, but imaging it seems ugly/eyesore-ish to me. Â ZacSpin looks pretty cool. And Mr. Six or whatever its name shall be is a credit. Looks like SFMM is going to have a awesome year in 2011.
DerekRx
Hey Cedar Fair, how's that knock-off Star Flyer looking for CP next year now?
Goliath513
Time to plan a trip out there. Great use of the old extended Batman queue for Green Lantern instead of removing anything like Tidal Wave for this. Not sure how it will look having two coasters of exactly the same colors next to each other, but it certainly fits the theme of the area best. Looks like this is 2001 all over again with 3 new coasters that will make this the xtreme park once again. I wonder if Superman will somehow manage to have both sides launch at once after the revamp though.

cooksta77
Cedar Point's PR will be shi*ting a chicken tomorrow morning. But in all seriousness, I'm shocked by this. Excited like you can't believe but shocked that it happened. -Cookie
coastercrzyjames
OMG, wow!! This is great news for SFMM! I'm very excited for this next year's expansion, looks to be very promising! Can't wait for the Green Lantern Intamin Zacspin.

Sean Menefee
Looks like some epic epiclly epicness of epic proportions. Â I've always been interested in checking out Intamin's Zac Spin coasters. This whole coaster package looks pretty neat, and it's only a short 6 hour drive instead of a plane ride now. 2011 is shaping up pretty nicely it would seem. RaptorBoyASU
Very excited for the ZacSpin and the backwards Superman. Â Though selling it as 3 new coasters is a bit of a stretch. 3 new coaster experiences would be more true. Â Definitely glad for WCB and ERT, I could see Green Lantern's line becoming insane! ben2008
This is awesome news! Was surprised about the ZacSpin, didn't see that coming at all! Way to go SFMM!
gforce532
^^Well the season pass ads at the park are advertising 3 new coaster experiences. Â I bet Kinzel is waking up right now in the middle of the night sensing a disturbance in the force.
daveydo5172
Says it will be nestled in by the Riddler....is it replacing Tidal Wave? Or is it going back by Batman? The video looks as if its back by Batman....where the pink circle is....
robbalvey
I'm not sure the footprint NEEDS to replace Tidal Wave, but I do know that ride has been on the "chopping block" before. I would say it probably would fit in Freefall's old footprint.
traincrossin
Though selling it as 3 new coasters is a bit of a stretch. 3 new coaster experiences would be more true. If you check out the promo video, it actually does say 3 new coaster experiences.
