CreditCrazy
I wish they did include the Q-Bot with the Xtreme Play Pass because that's what really makes it worth it for me. I do like the idea of having an add on for X2 though, because while I probably won't pay for it, I think a lot of people would be interested and would. A pretty smart move
wrs28330
Six Flags Magic Mountain  March 7th Update  Enjoy this lengthy lap around the park!  ~William Time is ticking closer to West Coast Bash! I will see you there! Say "hello" to your new brother! A few more shots from Cyclone Bay. The popsicle sticks slowly decrease in numbers. Work on the entrance bridge continues. Not much change here, as they still need room for equipment. The turn around at the top of the lift is complete. Okay, here is what you really care about. Bugs Bunny and..... ugh. Chain on display. You never know what to expect when you visit the Sky Tower. Here is a new-ish display board with the construction of the tower. I'm not to sure if you can purchase Dippin' Dots at this location. Los Cuates has received an outer face lift with some shade. A new court floor has been installed. Nice crowd at 3 Point Challenge! Swashbuckler has reopend and is showing of its new paint in the sunlight. Log Jammer, and the soon to be reopened Tidal Wave have new water blasters. It only cost $.25 a blast, and it certainly lives up to its name. This month's Six Flags Friends Foundation. It was a beautiful day at the park. On to the rest of the park! The trashcans' families have stop coming to the park, so they now sport this new message. Many guests took advantage of the first day of this new Flashpass system. Ooohhhh! Educational. Genisis was a very inviting hostess. "Step into my lier! Bwah, ha, ha!" Beyond these doors is the Hall of Justice! Today's prices and choice of rides. Part of the Locker building. Some signage changes. Flashpasses have moved to... "Do you like my shimmer curtain?" Mr. Six has now been back for two weeks and is loving life after retirement! ebl
"Genisis was a very inviting hostess." And rather attractive, too. Â According to the Flash Pass sign, Gold Rusher was available twice? Â And I noticed that you need both a drivers license and a season pass? So if you don't have a season pass, you can't use Flash Pass? Or did I miss something? Â Anyway, thanks for the update, William! Terminator is looking great, and it's nice to see its progress. Â Eric
John Peck
It's amazing how a simple coat of paint or some new signage can make things look 100% better! Â That park is really looking great!
Calicoasters
Ahhh Great Update! I wish you took a picture of the comparison sign of regular and gold flash pass. Terminator has actually moved forward a lot this week, maybe not in track length, but a lot of wood! Â ^It says you need one of the following, Driver/ID or Season Pass. PeoplemoverMatt
I'm excited about this new Flash Pass system. The kinds of revenues this will bring in is just what Six Flags needs.
atem122
Wow a lot has changed since I was there 2 weeks ago, the park is looking even better, and the Mr Six set up has gone from him+plus a mr Six spotlight to a whole stage! How were the lines today?
ebl
"It says you need one of the following, Driver/ID or Season Pass." (Calicoasters) Â I went back and re-read the sign. Yeah, requiring you to have a season pass would be unfair. Thanks for the correction. My bad... Â However, if I go to the park alone---as I usually do---I should pick up a Flash Pass just for one. It'd be worth it if the park was exceptionally crowded. Â Eric
CreditCrazy
Â According to the Flash Pass sign, Gold Rusher was available twice? Â Â I also noticed that. Â Terminator doesn't look too different...maybe next week. Â Btw, does anyone think the new Flashpass area looks a little like X2's station? robbalvey
There is NO discount for extreme passholders! I received a phone call and email from Neal today and he wanted me to inform everyone of the discount for Extreme Passholders. What you were told today at the office was incorrect, and if you contact Neal he will make sure you receive your discount or a refund for the discount on your next visit.  Here are the details:  Robb, Extreme Pass holders get $15 off the rental of 1 device. If everyone in the group has an extreme pass we only offer one discount per unit.  Therefore Friday-Sunday an extreme pass holder will pay:  1 person - $19 2 people - $38 3 people - $57 4 people - $76 5 people - $95 6 people - $114  Remember this system includes way more rides than our previous system.  Neal  On another note, these prices are very comperable to other Six Flags parks. Note the prices at SFMM:  And now the prices at Six Flags Great Adventure -
Crazy4Coasters!
Would someone mind explaining how the Q-Bot rental works. I'm under the impression that the "one person" rental for $34 is good for up to 6 people per device. Does that mean one Q-Bot will let up to 6 riders board at one time? Is that correct? Thanks for the help.

Crazy4Coasters!
Thanks for clearing it up. I read this one article on about.com and it confused me. It had this to say about the Q-Bot... Rent a Q-bot at the Flash Pass booth near the front of the park. Up to six people in one party can use one Q-bot. Â That was quote was located here: http://themeparks.about.com/cs/sixflagsparks/a/blfastlanea_3.htm
Wes
^ Yeah that's true, up to six people CAN use one Q-bot, but you still have to pay for six people. Think of QBOT as a portable fast pass machine. If you pay for one person, it would "print out" one ticket when its your time to ride, but if you pay for six, it would "print out" six tickets, that's the limit. If your party had seven to twelve people in it, you would have to purchase two Qbots.
robbalvey
^ It is true that up to 6 people can use one Q-Bot, but you have to pay the 6-person price. You'll see the 6-person price is much cheaper than if 6 people all bought thr 1-person price.
Crazy4Coasters!
Thanks for the info, that really clears everything up. Hopefully this helps out anyone else who had questions about how the Q-Bot works.
Rideslover
Look great photos. I like a new color for Swashbuckler and new water blast so i could drop quarter to get you a soak just a kidding. Â Good job William and i'll see you on next two week.
Millionaire2K
Why does it say "add X2 for $10" At Great Adventure you get EVERY major ride for the same cost. Why have to pay more? Also the price for regular is the same at SFGADV & SFMM. SFGADV charges more for gold.
gotdane
^ I imagine it's just to create less of a demand for it. The higher the price, the less the demand. And X2 doesn't reach the highest capacity, but would be what everyone would want to use their Flash Pass for...so...Charge more for it and less people will use it. triggernel
I think I have got this now, so you can use the flash pass for as many rides as you want during the day, but only one at a time, correct?
ajinaz
That's right. Make sure that you put in a new reservation as soon as the worker scans your pager. When using the gold at SFGAdv our next ride was ready when we stepped off the previous ride.
