Ryan King
Jahan. Please don't stop doing any of your TR's because of all this "Fanatic" discussion. I personaly love them and get ultra informed by them. As you are a GP, former employee, and theme park enthusiast, your reports are honest, insightful, unbiasd, and most importantly entertaining. You have an awesome knack for pointing out all aspects you see of the park without being judgemental. You just report what you see at the park. Good, bad, otherwise. It doesn't matter. Keep up the good work. Let's face facts people. Jahan's camera doesn't lie. (Unless he's a photoshop jedi.) In which case... ...F*** you Jahan, you piece of photoshopping S***! I can't believe you've been duping us all into believing your fair and balanced TR's. Who do you think you are, FOX news? I hate you Jahan! I hate you so very much! I hope your nappy hair is cursed with a years worth of 100% humidity. You gave me faith in the youth of our nation, then spit in my face. I'd expect as much from Ryan. But not you. Noooooo! Not you! You were like the son I'd never had. If I didn't have that other one. Thanks Jahan! Thanks for destroying my pristine, crystal clear, vision of you leading our great country into the next century. You can now twist the knife you have placed squarely between my shoulderblades. Thanks Jahan. Thanks for nothing! Guy "I weep for our youth." Koepp Dude! You know your awesome! Never stop! You lower my self esteem Guy
Guy T. Koepp
^You got to hit rock bottom before you can start the upward climb. I'm just helping you hit rock bottom. Settle down turbo! You make yourself too easy of a target. You know I love you Ryan. Not in the NMBLA sort of way. More of a father/son sort of love. It's tough love, but it's love nontheless. socalMAN123
SFMM 11/25/06 Rides Closed: Flashback Yosemite Sam's Sierra Falls Spin Out Ninja X Overall, I pretty good day. We got on every coaster that was open besides Deja Vu, Psyclone, Goliath Jr., and Canyon Blaster. Crews were OK today, not bad like usual. I realized on some of the coasters that there is either no existence of theming (typical SF) or that there is theming, it is just not in good condition (Riddler's Revenge). I know we've been saying this for a while, but I would really prefer SFMM to make the park look nice instead of building all of these world class coasters. Anyways, good day, but my dad made us leave at like 3:00 so he could watch the USC game. ---Brent
Mr.Six
^ Glad to hear you had a somewhat good day at the mountain today. Crowds today were extremely light. I don't think Tatsu's switchbacks ever got full. _six

GMAN962
Sorry, I know how late this is, but I just have to get my "park rant" off my chest. I have had a few bad experiences with the park, mostly involving employees (wow, big surprise ) Anyway, first, back in August, we got to the park an hour before it opened, and were like the first people at the metal detectors. They just opened the detectors, and we got an employee who obviously had an attitude, and didn't care. I was stepping through with my electronics/metals in my hands, and he didn't care that I was making proof that I'm a safe guy, and mumbled so quietly that i could barley hear, "Step through." I say what? He says "Step through like I was dumb or something. He did that same thing with my brother, and my Mom, not sure about my Dad, cause he was parking the car. Another time, on my first ride on Riddler's, I was getting on, and since I'm REALLY light, I wasn't able to push down the seat, I didn't want to go on that without my legs touching the ground, especially in one of the back rows. He's like get on, I'm like, no it's gonna crush my b*lls! Then you wont ride! Just get on so I can push you down! So he gets on, and has trouble himself pushing me down...I dont know if it was a defectice seat, but that kind of got me a bit angry. The ride went on fine, and my area was safe and sound Just throwing a few incidents out there. ~Mike

savemagicmountain
I have been watching this topic for a couple of months now and i think it is time that i chime in. I have been going to sfmm twice a year for at least 6 years now. Last time I was in September it was a mildly quiet Sunday right before school begun. For the most part the day was clean and exciting. I have one problem which goes back to what we talked about a couple of pages ago. The employees did not want to do anything if it was not their job. It was about 100 degrees out and we were waiting in line for Tatsu. This girl fainted right in front of me because of the heat and no one was doing anything about it. Now it was early in the morning so i can see where maybe alcohol could have added to the heat from the night before but there is no reason the employees should not do anything about it. The game workers across the way did not care and the "event security" people did not do anything but call for help and wait. They did not bring her into the shade or anything. It just frustrates me that the employees do not care about anything but their own job, and until that changes I don’t know how much better the park can get. Mr.Six
^ Of course it varies situation by situation but park employees can never actually give any sort of first aid. Like I said, it varies by case. All that employees are suppose to do is call security. Many times we are alerted that a guest has fainted in line and we go out looking for them. Sometimes they want to stay on the ground for a while and sometimes they want help up after a while. I don't know what happened in your situation, but they should at least be over talking to the guest who fainted. It seriously is just a bunch of legal mumbo jumbo. So, it sounds like they didn't do a whole lot to make it appear that any action was being taken, which is something they should of done. But just be aware that park employees can't try to move the person or anything like that. _six
