The Geek Mojo
All I know is I went in July, and the whole time I was there the line hardly moved. I got there early and rode it early with hardly no one in line and I still waited over an hour to ride. They weren't filling the queues and sending up trains half full. The person allowing people on the ramp wasn't paying attention and wasn't sending people like they should have. I talked to guest services about this and they had no excuse. It was the worst experience of the whole day. Everything else about the park was wonderful. But I will never forget the terrible operations I experienced with X2. If they got it fixed now, then awesome. But seriously...Those kids working that ride could give a shit.
singemfrc
Maybe it's because I live up in NorCal and only get to SFMM once a year for 2 days, but there's very few rides I skip. Rough order of rides there from best to worst in my opinion: Same here, but I usually end up skipping a couple each trip, then the next trip I make a point to hit whatever I skipped the last time. I haven't ridden Batman, Superman, or Scream since 2014 and I havent ridden Revolution or Apocalypse since 2013. Too bad I still won't be able to get Apocalypse this year during WCB, but I'm going to make sure to do Batman, Scream, and Superman. With all this ERT we have for West Coast Bash it shouldn't be hard to do everything with plenty of time left over. If Superman isn't on the morning ERT I'm going to hit it right when the park opens to the public, it's usually dead at that time. In fact doing Superman, Batman, and Scream at that time might be a great idea. There will absolutely be a Green Lantern marathon at some point in the day! Eaanderson10
I'm hearing X2 should be open for WCB. It was only supposed to be a 2 or 3 week refurb. And if TPR is advertising ERT on it, it would be kinda rude for the park to have it down just for general maintenance. From the West Coast Bash page: EVENT DETAILS AND RIDE AVAILABILITY SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE! If I hear one person complain that a ride isn't open and try to use the excuse of "Well TPR advertised it" not only will you not be allowed to attend another one of our events ever again but you'll be banned from TPR for life. Look, I get it that everyone is looking forward to riding stuff, but if one ride being down is going to make or break the day for you, do us all a favor and don't go. --Robb "So sick of all the complaining." Alvey HAHAHAHA! Robb just laid a smack down on us! It's true though, if a ride is down then don't let it ruin the day. Just have a Churro, a lemon slushy and all will be well! And put on your headphones and listen to Chicago.-Saturday in the Park. Sent from my LGLS992 using Tapatalk haha "Saturday in the Park" is definitely on my coaster playlist. I like your style! How we wish we had Gold Striker and not Apocalypse....we know what you meant...but the subtle change was humorous... Yes, that should read Gold rusher and not striker. And man would a nice legit woody like Goldstriker be welcome. How in the world is Apocalypse so bad so soon?

My son and I marathon Superman first thing on one day Everytime we go. We get at least 10 rides in without getting off, then hit DC area up after, which is also usually dead. coasternut
I'd also skip the VR on New Revolution and just enter in the exit and get a front row seat without waiting...It's a lot better experience. From there, either take the tram up the hill to ride Superman or go to FT or TC. Single ride line for the New Revolution doesn't exist anymore as of last Thurday. How in the world is Apocalypse so bad so soon? My guess - the desert heat is not good for wood coasters. Rainier climates seems to be required for wood coasters to last. Are there examples of a wood coaster that has done well in extreme dryness? It will be interesting to see if Gold Striker holds up, it's not as hot in Santa Clara as in Santa Clarita, and the winter rains are more abundant, but the summers are comparable. MagicMountainMan
Anyone know what time the announcement vid will be posted? Usually really early in the morning, before eastern time zone news goes live so every news source can pick it up that morning. Around 2-3AM Pacific if my memory serves. Maybe even earlier. Magic Alumni
i've got a membership, but got my dining pass for 2017. now i can have two meals through the end of the year. lol I've had a membership as well since 2013 and was paying $6.75/month per pass for all three of my family's passes. Since the new flash deal was cheaper at $6.25/month, I went in the membership portal to cancel them. They provided one offer to lower it to $5.99/month per pass, I declined that so it came back with a 2nd offer of $3.99/month per pass which I quickly accepted. Now I'm only paying $48/year for my gold passes (including 2 parks and season parking) memberships. Woo hoo! Worth a shot for anyone who has a membership right now. You can try cancelling and if you don't receive the offers, you can cancel the process and choose to keep your current membership.

Magic Alumni
When I chose to cancel, it asked if I would entertain a offer to keep my membership. I said yes. The first offer was the $5.99 one which I declined and then it came up with the 2nd and final offer of $3.99. The options were to accept this offer, see first offer or something like "enough already, cancel my membership." I choose to accept. One note, if you have a dining pass on your current membership, you will lose it if you accept the offer. I didn't care due to the fact that I was just going to buy the new 2017 one in the flash sale anyway.

Superbatboy
So excited they're revamping the entire movie district Also, the 2 pre-show rooms sounds different than the other versions built thus far, cant wait to see how that turns out. SFMMGeek27
It looks like we did indeed get a custom version of the attraction since SFMM's has two preshow rooms, a larger building, and a different finale that includes Harley Quinn, none of which is included on the SFGAdv press release or any other previous JL installments. I think this will be a great addition to the park and I can't wait to ride it! Also, the Movie District retheme to Metropolis is a great idea! I wonder if they will connect this to DC Universe in any way and if they will just combine both into one mega-land. I guess we shall see! The New Revolution and now a dark ride! This park is really turning away from insane coasters and working on rounding out the family experience. I like it.
