FINALLY they do something right!

Not sure if this was posted already, but they are having an awesome sale on Season Passes.

So awesome that I bought a SFMM one even though I live in Orlando! I'll be able to process it at WCB and then it will be good for the rest of 2015 and all 2016 at all Six Flags parks. A real steal at just $80 with tax.

Anyone else crazy like me? I probably won't even use it at SFMM in 2016 unless work takes me out there. But having it will give me incentive to FINALLY visit SF St. Louis.

Ciao!

Maybe slightly less crazy here. I'm definitely going to order one and process it during WCB so I can come back for Revolution and try to make my way up to SFDK for Joker next year.

Great. Now bring back the log jammer and the Magic Pagoda

Yes please! Removing that ride and the luscious foliage was a serious YOLO moment

I just noticed on the SFMM site, it says Revolution will be painted white and blue. I wonder what they will paint blue? My vote is for all white, but the blue certainly is not a complaint.

I'm so excited over this, I can hardly stop my head from spinning. Let's hope it's done with the utmost care, as it deserves.

You can get a close up of the train from the SFMM website. Note the graphics on top of an Iron Rattler train. Time will tell what the real trains will look like. Think they'll have 3 trains?

Maybe a new lighting package, too? Let's hope!

So this will make it seem like it is a whole new ride, new credit?

What is and isnt a new credit is subjective to each person..to me it's not a new credit. In my opinion it's only a new credit if the layout changes. So for me for example, X and X2 were not different credits, but Twisted Colossus and Colossus are.

I have always had a fascination with Revolution ever since I first saw it in the move Roller Coaster back in 1977 and I was excited to finally get to ride it in 2001. Love the layout, love the dense foliage that has grown around it, but the trains really ruined it. I am thrilled that the ride will be back to its original state.

I had just given up on the idea of Revolution ever being restored, so this was a surprise for me to see this morning and definitely made my day. Way to go SFMM. Looking foreword to riding Revolution next year.

Just popping in here to say this is an awesome addition. I have really wanted to go to Magic Mountain and currently have close friends who live in LA and constantly bug me to come out. Twisted Colossus almost did it this year but then we decided Kennywood/Cedar Point was the move for our 2015 trip. Now this has me SERIOUSLY trying to figure out a short hop out there to finally check out this park. I grew up watching Vacation and have been aware of both where/what these coasters actually are for a long time. Obviously this refreshing is something that's needed from what I can tell by the posts here and elsewhere, and its so great the park listened to years of complaining from the fans and is doing something about it. I'm curious to see the paint job on the track too.

So the park is just refurbishing the trains? Not Gerstlauer? If the outcome is anything like SooperDooperLooper you guys are in for a treat. SDL is crazy awesome smooth, kind of scary great for being as old as it is imo.
