dippindotsguy8
^You can't really assume with that much certainty. Nobody knows exactly what kind of speed we'll be seeing it run with. I think the whole argument is pointless, honestly. But nobody from either side can safely assume they're right. I'm excited to ride either way. Basic knowledge of physics will tell you airtime is likely. There isn't really anything in the course that would significantly slow the train down, and given the length it makes sense to have it fly through the course and that will produce airtime. ftdude16
I've lived my entire life in California and I never knew real ejector airtime until I rode Magnum XL and El Toro. I, too, have lived my entire life in California and I still don't know true ejector airtime. The most airtime-filled coaster I've ever ridden is Appolo's Chariot, and I really am hoping Twisted Colossus will teach me the meaning of what an "airtime machine" is. DodgeballMovie1488
Hello everyone. I'm new here and I went to Six flags a few weeks ago and here is what I thought I really liked this park and I really want to go back soon. It has alot of awesome roller coasters like Goliath - It is not as good as Raging Bull but it does have a lot of +Gs and is a really cool ride. It is better than Behemoth Superman - I thought this was a really nice ride even though it is a bit short Green Lantern - This is a really awesome coaster and I dont know why people hate this ride show much Tatsu - This is better than Superman at SFGA and I really liked the pretzel loop even though the lines were pretty long Apocalypse - It is a little rough though it is a really good GCI Batman - It is basically the same thing as the one at SFGA though it wasn't in a good area because it looked like a big ol desert Overall, I thought it was a really cool park and I dont understand why everyone hates on this park because it has some of the best coasters out there. I would reccomend this park to anyone in the area.

Uriel Galindo
Other coasters have certainly been marketed as having more than 18 airtime moments. If I recall correctly, the New Texas Giant was promoted as having more than 30. No I think it also has

Mater
Green Lantern - This is a really awesome coaster and I dont know why people hate this ride show much Always nice to run across someone who understands and appreciates Green Lantern. There are few coasters left for me out there where I don't really know how the ride will go after being released from the lift, so that ride is always a fun time for me. JJLehto
I can only vouch for myself, having been on Green Lantern once, I thought it was pretty awesome! The general gripe I heard is it's inconsistent, and apparently I got a luck ride with a couple of full flips in there, and (supposedly) the norm is just rocks back and forth. Well, even that seems like it may be fun. I also didn't find it tooo painful or thrashing, though I could see how it would be. Thought it was a fun lil ride
pǝʇɹǝʌuı
I rode Green Lantern for the first time the year it opened and loved it. Lots of spinning with some fun forces being pulled. Rode it again and hated it. The ride didn't spin at all and the way my cousin and I were facing made it REALLY uncomfortable. It's all about how the car is balanced. If it's balanced in such a way that it spins, it's a truly excellent ride. If not, good luck having children.
rcdude
If Green Lantern was operated properly, it would be a really good ride. Unfortunately, SFMM has made the decision to minimize rotation, and that has resulted in a ride that is very uncomfortable. In addition, I don't think they ever found a good loading procedure, which makes the line crawl (seriously, I doubt the ride does much more than 300 riders per hour). While not the worst ride out there, it's definitely something I don't bother with if the line is more than 10-15 minutes and I wouldn't mind if it were removed and sent off to a Six Flags park that will operate the coaster properly. If the new S&S zacspin-like ride at Fiesta Texas works out, I wouldn't mind them replacing GL with that version
Mater
If not, good luck having children. I've honestly never understood this complaint. Balls are adjustable, they don't have to sit in bad awkward places if you don't want them there. It's really not that different than adjusting them to a comfortable spot on Riddler. As for the complaint about load times, I'm 100% with you on that one. Thankfully it has a pretty fast moving single rider line if the ride op is actively sending people to both sides of the car. Unfortunately, SFMM has made the decision to minimize rotation, and that has resulted in a ride that is very uncomfortable. it's the rotation is what i felt was going to die from the single time i rode. a little girl and small mom on one side, and my buddy and i on the other. the final rotation into the station really hurt me. all i really remember is trying to protect myself from harm. i thought i had just gotten a bad ride because of the weight difference. but when i saw the interview with Alan Schilke kind of explaining why he thinks it sucks, it made perfect sense. i did ride soon after it opened, so, i'm not sure how much it changed. but that one ride makes me not even give it a second chance cause it was so bad for me. it's probably half the ride, and half me. shoot, i used to marathon Viper over and over, can't do that anymore. as long as the line keeps others from Twisted Colossus, it's welcome at SFMM to me. Well this is no shocker, classic six flags And yes, the load times WERE quite horrendous. We had a surprise ERT 2 years ago and no one went so I got a ride in but no doubt, that was some painful loading procedure
Mater
It doesn't help that half the people getting in/out of the train fall on their face. I take that back, it definitely helps the time go by watching that while in the SR line.
JJLehto
BTW it's looking very possible, assuming SFMM would be the 12th, that I could make it out this year, (huzzah Tuesday through Thursday classes) soooo cmon WCB! And having crossed Green Lantern off the list and getting a great ride on it, I will retire it there and not need to waste any time on it now! Jew
^I believe that Grona Land will balance the load but does NOT have the additional counterweights SFMM added to reduce flipping. IIRC, when TPR visited they did some sort of challenge that increased the amount of flipping.
