VTown661
My favorite fast tacos were Monster Tacos from Jack in the Box. With the single slice of "cheese food" placed right in the taco. Are those still around? Monster tacos have been off the menu in Los Angeles area for a couple years now. Most locations now just offer 2 tacos for $0.
Musketeer
Full Throttle is going to have a theme song? http://www.kpho.com/story/21020166/six-flags-entertainment-and-roadrunner-records-announce-groundbreaking-partnership-and-release-of-first-ever-original-song-for-coaster-by-australian SOURCE Six Flags Entertainment Corporation GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas, Feb. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Six Flags Entertainment Corporation (NYSE: SIX), the world's largest regional theme park company, and Roadrunner Records, prominent international rock record label, a member of the Warner Music Group family of labels, today announced a new partnership, including the first-ever release of an original song created for a roller coaster. The Full Throttle edition of "Live it Up" will be released by Australian rock band, Airbourne, for the opening of Full Throttle at Six Flags Magic Mountain (Valencia, CA), the tallest, fastest looping roller coaster in the world. The song will be released to rock radio in late spring followed by its in-park debut at Six Flags Magic Mountain with the ride opening. The Full Throttle edition of "Live it Up" will be featured throughout the newly themed five-acre section of the park where guests will experience high-energy action through fast-paced imagery, sound and lights, with additional music featuring various Roadrunner artists. The launch will be further supported nationally in all theme parks, Roadrunner and Six Flags online and social media channels, live events and press outreach. "Theme music is synonymous with television, movies and even sports. It's a natural extension to bring original music to a world-class roller coaster, like Full Throttle," said David McKillips, Senior Vice President of Corporate Alliances, Six Flags Entertainment. "Roadrunner Records had the creative vision and talent to match the heart-pounding speed and adrenaline the ride experience delivers, backed with a content partnership that provides best-in-class entertainment to our guests." In addition to the song's release, Six Flags and Roadrunner will be working together on programming to be featured on Six Flags digital networks, which includes the Nielsen-measured Six Flags Television Network. The content partnership will air Roadrunner videos in ride-line televisions and help drive awareness, music downloads, and sales for Roadrunner's breadth of rock artists. "This is an innovative partnership that brings together two great brands and allows Roadrunner to bring music to millions of entertainment-seeking consumers in a new way," said Michael Easterlin, General Manager of Roadrunner Records. "Six Flags' ability to generate awareness through the Full Throttle attraction and its national media network provides a unique outlet for fans to instantly access our music." "Live it Up" will be included on Airbourne's upcoming album, Black Dog Barking which will be out on Roadrunner May 21, 2013. Airbourne's infectious music has been used in more than 20 video games, countless films, trailers and more. SoCalCoasters
I'm excited to see Six Flags branching out it's marketing into more interesting realms and fields. After all, I'm sure they've seen what Merlin has been able to accomplish over the years with their viral marketing campaigns. Despite people complaining about the inevitable delays the ride has experienced, I'm excited to see how it turns out.
Someotherguyuser
Here is one of Airbourne's songs: UGGH. My ears! This sounds like Nickleback trying to sound like AC/DC. Of all of the more lesser-known bands they could have picked to do Full Throttle's theme song, why did it have to be this group? I know it would be too expensive to have a bigger name like Judas Priest to do it, but there are several groups that aren't as well known that could've made a great theme song for the coaster; like Trivium or Sepultura, for example. Sir Clinksalot
^^ Airborne is ... ok. Nickelback was what I was referring to when I said "they could have chosen worse". LOL. But considering Nickelback is also on the RoadRunner label and the fact that the release says they'll be playing videos from other RoadRunner artists in the queue and surrounding area I'm guessing we'll get Nickelback more than any of the others. Although this also means they could play Rush which would at least make that area tolerable.

As much as I would love to hear Rush on there (Or even Dream Theater or Opeth for that matter), SFMM never likes to pay good music. I have to cringe while hearing "Call Me Maybe" or "Top of the World" in Batman's queue line. Just be thankful DragonForce isn't doing the theme song for Full Throttle. mark549
I hope their loudspeakers are in maintenance rehab the day I ride this thing. Superman is already the loudest coaster anywhere (to the point of dangerous pain), this just adds to the problem. Perhaps the gift shop can sell ear plugs themed to comic book characters. MrSum1_55
Does anyone else find it slightly ironic that one of the largest parks in the country putting more hype into this project than almost any other coaster in the country in the past few years, yet, this is a project small enough that any medium sized park could afford with ease? Xcoaster
GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas, Feb. The YOLOcoaster edition of "Live it Up" will be released by Australian rock band, Airbourne, for the opening of YOLOcoaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain (Valencia, CA), the tallest, fastest looping roller coaster in the world. Keeping with the rest of the claims about the ride, the claim that it's the first-ever release of an original song for a roller coaster isn't entirely true: Even so, I'm glad they're putting some extra effort into the ride. Maybe it won't fall apart in a year?

They might as well start claiming that this is the first coaster to go upside down at this point.
