VTown661
Was at SFMM today and it was colder then a witches you know what out there. Throttle had some cement poured here and there (leaving to experts to cal em footers). No big line for season pass . rain hit around 1:30 and people bee lined for the exits .. only was brief rain but wind and colder air was not good for me. christianscoasters
Thinking of making a trip to SFMM on a Saturday in early April. What should I expect crowd-wise? Should I pick a different time to go or is that just fine?

WFChris
^^You should intend on purchasing a Gold Fastpass if you want to enjoy yourself. That week is spring break time for many schools and a very busy time of year at So Cal parks.
SFMMGeek27
It will be open from 10:30-9 so you will have plenty of time. You just have to hustle. Try to get there early and be one of the first few in. Then haul it to X2 (if it doesn't open in 15 minutes, forget about it and come back later). Then go to Tatsu, Superman, etc.

gforce1994
(1/28/13) It is interesting to note that Six Flags Magic Mountain has taken down their press release with the false sounding world-record claims for Full Throttle, which is a good thing. As of right now the Full Throttle page is blank, other than the graphic at the top. I expect we’ll see a new promotional page added sometime later this week Woo Hoo! Correct advertisements. lk2500
Would late April be better then? I have heard that most Cali schools have off either the week before or week after Easter. A Saturday in late April might be better than early April, but obviously a weekday in late April would be a better choice.
Sir Clinksalot
Spring Breaks vary greatly in SoCal. Easter is kind of early this year (March 31) so expect most schools to have their spring break the week after. So if you go later in April you will certainly have better luck with crowds. Remember, after Spring Break the park is open every day until Labor Day. Weekdays in late April and May are the absolute best times to go to the park. JJnCFL
Weekdays in April after all the schools' Spring Breaks are over are awesome days to go. Last year I practically got to marathon pretty much everything, with the exception of X2 & GL, and the park was only open till 6.
christianscoasters
I might just end up doing a Monday then. Thanks, guys! I really appreciate it!!!
Nyteowl
Socal high school student here. Our spring break this year is March 25-April 5th so expect some increased wait times then. However, my high school is a two hour drive from the park so I'm not sure how much my school will affect the attendance.
SFMMGeek27
I'm gonna be there Monday, April 22nd. I'm hoping for a phenomenal day that day.
VTown661
Me and my S/O are heading into SFMM this Saturday ... anyone want a picture of anything aside from Throttle construction update?... Perhaps 3 Point Challenge? ... Closed Ben & Jerry's? ... Sushi Roll? Let me know I shall see if I can remember.
jps294
I really think that SFMM should consider try an get the main signer Stephanie Sanson from "You Only Live Once" to preform at YOLOcoaster grand opening! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QNdOhGvFHQ

Koasterking48
^^ I totally did not see that one coming. Maybe in Yolocoaster's queue you can have an endless loop of this lovely rendition of Adele

simaticable
From Screamscape: 2013 - Full Throttle - (1/31/13) I’m scratching my head this evening, as Six Flags Magic Mountain has re-published their Full Throttle detail page, and it’s the same one as before with the false claims about being the “tallest, fastest looping roller coaster in the world”. I don’t get it.
Double0Kevin
Parks say whatever they want about their rides. I don't get why we are always surprised by this. Especially Six Flags and their marketing teams, most don't know anything about roller coasters. The team at SFMM probably thinks Superman at SFDK is the same ride as SFMM.
