From what I've heard X2 could possibly reopen this weekend but things can happen so that could change. I've heard the park wants to get X2 open before the holidays. dylanreich
Let's just go to OTSR's, the leg restrains are really bad.

Someotherguyuser
Wow. I never realized that tree took up so much space. They could definitely fit a kid's coaster there.
Sir Clinksalot
There are rumors that the store there is going away as well to make room for the kiddie coaster. Kind of interesting that they wouldn't take out both at the same time ... but it is SFMM. Although it's possible the store could be used for the queue/exit store as well. dylanreich
Although it's possible the store could be used for the queue/exit store as well. I'd be surprised if they DIDN'T do something like that, we all know how much they love tearing things down and starting fresh.
gisco
Kind of opens up the area with out the tree. Hope they have a nice plan for the area.

This sounds like a Six Flags plan. They'll probably put a special "Parking Lot Stripe" gift shop to walk through too.
Will Nolte
Just a note on YOLOcoaster: I rode it twice for the Midnight Riders thing (I haven't been back to the park since), and the lap bar was useless. I came completely out of my seat and was only held in by the restrains on my shins/calves. It wouldn't surprise me if it got seat belts. Â Pretty sure you're SUPPOSED to come out of your seat like that. I figured that was supposed to happen. I wasn't complaining about it. But I am sure some safety nazi would, that is why I wouldn't be surprised if it got belts. Â I liked the ride. That is why I rode it twice when I had the chance. singemfrc
Well the seat belt additions aren't limited to SFMM, Superman at SFDK got seat belts added as of today. I'm sure YOLO will get them soon.

_IntaMAN_
If Full Throttle got seat belts that would be slightly disappointing as it ran great without them and had some awesome dispatch times. Oh well, Six Flags is gonna Six Flags.

Oh well, Six Flags is gonna Six Flags.Yeah basically. Since SUF got belts and it has identical trains, and another coaster at SFMM got it, I think it's safe to conclude that YoloCoaster will get them at some point. _IntaMAN_
Pretty much confirms things. Six Flags is really over-exaggerating some times. Sheesh.
BotanicalStig
When the other option is OTSR's I don't understand the complaints. Â If the GP doesn't feel safe they wont show up to the parks. With the recent incident, SF is just trying to make the rides "safer". Even though we know a seatbelt isn't necessary, the GP doesn't. They're the ones who fill the parks up every day, not us. Â Cedar Fair typically has seat belts on their coasters... and yet... nobody seems to care.
RollerCoasterAwesome
My problem with seat belts is dispatch times which have nearly doubled if not trippled in length on Full Throttle.
Vonni
Titan at SFOT got seatbelts as well, for those of you who were curious if that would happen or not.
GigaG
Cedar Fair typically has seat belts on their coasters... and yet... nobody seems to care.  Because CF can dispatch at a decent pace with them  In all seriousness, they have gotten rid of the belts on Bat (Flight Deck) and BLSC at Kings Island.
