^ I simply cannot imagine Collossos as being rough just due to the design (how many out and backs are all that rough, prefab or not) and to blame a POS RCCA woodie's roughness on the trains is absurd!

1) I never described Colossos as being rough. Only as having square wheels. Just feel the headache rising when you bounce through the dips.

2) I also didn't attribute this to the design.

3) RCCA isn't that great but just try Coaster Express in Madrid...

Intamin-trains for wooden coasters just aren't that great; plus : they are plain ugly as well

(Nor are they exceptionally good for steel ones but that's another discussion)

I will say that Colossos last year wasn't *quite* as butter smooth as it was in 2002, but like Joey said, that and Balder are still the two smoothest wooden coasters I've ever ridden.

You want a coaster with square wheels try riding Wild Wild West at Movie Park Germany!

I'm going to NJ in a couple weeks and I either have to choose between Clementon for Tsunami or Ocean City/Seaside Heights. Is it true the beaches are closed in Jersey? It may make me lean toward Tsunami even more.

The beaches are all reopened, though only the state beaches were closed.

Why don't you just do all three areas at the same time? Clementon can be done in like 20 minutes, and its not too far away from the Atlantic City Expressway, which will take you back to the GSP to get to OCNJ.

"Hey, SFOG, why the hell did you have to take out the Looping Starship. Oh, wait, I almost wouldnt care if we weren't WEAK with the fltas =("

It got in the way of GOLIATH!

^ Um...what the hell does that have to do with Joe's trip to SFGAdv?!?!?

When covering the part of the park with the Looping Starship and Parachute Drop, I made fun of SFOG for taking theirs out... not sure if it was worth a bump for something I knew, but ya know...

In all honestly I thought El Toro was over-rated. I rode it on July the 6th at 9 o'clock in the back seat and going on what some people are saying it should have been the best rollercoaster I have been on!

Really the ride consists of a great first drop, two great airtime hills, a turn around, two average airtime hills, the drop over rolling thunder which has loads of air and then the ride just goes through a load of S curves and just kind of ends.

Seriously I'm from the UK so I'm not bias in anyway, but this ride just sums up so many large new coasters these days, people hype them up so much they are just a bit of a let-down after you come off.

We rode Nitro after in the dark and to be honest i preffered it and thought over the course of the ride it has a lot more airtime.

Also where is the fun in having all this airtime when you are just rammed into the restraints on the crest of every hill. To me Phoenix at Knobels sums up a great airtime wooden coaster you spend a lot of the ride actually floating, its great fun. Maybe El Toro would be more fun if they didn't stapple you in so much and actually allowed you to feel some of the air!

I think Balder is a much better coaster, its feels more out of control and you still almost the same intensity of air buts its over 7 or 8 hills instead of just 4!

Mentioning of Line Jumpers... we had some of those at SFoG this past weekend... We were in line for Georgia Scorcher and this small kid comes behind me and is like "Excuse me" and pushes past. I thought he knew some kids that were infront of us, turns out he skipped them too and they didn't even know him. No one knew the kid that cut.

Now, this wouldn't have pissed me off that bad except for the fact that we were waiting for the front row and he stood on the railing and said "Hey! (Insert persons name here) come up here!"... and his friend skipped too!

Right as they were about to board (They were next), my friend Rob yelled to the worker to get his attention... the one kid yelled "F*** you!" when Rob yelled for the worker. They were just about to get in the "Seats" when we got the workers attention. Everyone in line (In front and behind us) confirmed, on top of us, that they cut... they got escorted out of the park.

My, that was a fun day at SFoG... that and the 3hr wait for Batman: The Ride (Due to rain)
