Robbie
Just wondering how reliable the Superman accellerater is?
nev
I'm sure one of the Queensland folk will be able to answer this better than me, but in the half dozen or so times I've been to MovieWorld this year it's always been up and running... I know it closed briefly after the busy summer period for some minor adjustments but you certainly don't hear about it closing for weeks. Certainly seems to be more reliable than many of the other rockets around. And as a sidenote, after seeing and/or riding Rita, Stealth, Kanonen and SpeedMonster on the UK Trip, I can honestly say our little rocket packs more punch than any of them Cheers Rich
VekomaSucks1234
I don't think they'll be able to answer right now. The Aussies are devestated by their countrys heartbreaking loss in the World Cup today

nev
Not really, as soon as Australia gets knocked out everyone goes back to pretending they supported England all along
rosscoe
The whole country is acting like it's the end of the world, sad really we never had any hope ever of winning the "world cup", how we got thru the first round was by a stroke of luck. But to answer the question as far as i know "superman" has not had a lot of down time..
Hurricane
We lost!? I didn't even know lol! Anyways, Superman is a fairly reliable ride, But it had a few opening day issews. It has the odd rollback but it's fairly good most of the time. But, having 2 stations behind each other, and often running 1 train, often results in 1 train leaving every 5-7 mins But yea, it's still good! downunder
It's rarely been down for whole days and generally is running all day except when it is raining. Given it is a smaller accelerator it is much more reliable than the bigger ones. Finally got to ride it this month and I was very impressed, the themed section is impressive, the launch has a real kick to it because it gets to 100 kph in a short distance, great ejector airtime towards the front, and it has a real whip at the back. I like it better than storm runner because of the cool themed part and the ejector air.
UberBeavis
I had an Australian fan crying on my counter this morning, it was really sad...
thunder001
As far as I know, which is not often much, there has not been a rollback on Superman outside of the testing stages. I will leave this one up to the Rabid one to find out and answer with 100% reliability. It had a couple of issues for the first two to three weeks with a sensor alignment, but now it hardly has any troubles outside of the weather related ones anyway. I just hope that the new Batman tower will be as good as Superman....about time we started to get some new toys down here. Wayne "B&M 2007" C. mrsthor
^ it must take u a long time to do that Rabid It's always been running when me and the Old man (aka thunder001) have been there...except once in light rain, but once the rain cleared, it was up and running again (much to my hubbys delight )

downunder
I went with Thunder001 and mrsthor when it was raining but he worked like a charm and there we were front row first ride of the day for my first ever ride. And remember all you people who have ridden Superman do Mitch Hawker's poll this year, I know it will be right up there on my ballot.
