  1. You're right. All these valid points regarding changing the profile of one huge ride in order to accommodate another is completely irrelevant.
  2. Should not using Facebook come as a surprise when I'm sending an email to an AOL address?
  3. ^ Right. And I'm generally pleading ignorance on the matter, but intuition tells me that by modifying the sky ride, it would *possibly* void any manufacturer's warranty on the lines themselves? I mean, sky rides would seem to be fairly precise installations, with all the counterbalance this and that involved, no? Maybe I'm thinking too deep, and it's not that complicated, but it just seems really odd.
  4. Same here, Larry. I just can't imagine that shortening sky ride towers is as simple as showing up and "taking a little off the top" one day. I may be wrong too, but that just seems counterproductive in the grand scheme of things. Also, like you, I don't care one way or the other; however, it is a somewhat intriguing decision regardless of when the official decision came down.
  5. Grandiose proposals and plans for southern amusement parks are all the rage these days! At least there aren't many starving concept artists out there.
  6. Perhaps some of IOA and SWO, but I'm guessing it'd be a bit too far from the Disney property to make it worthwhile. And considering SWO already has an observation tower.....well, yeah.
  7. As Orlando is obviously one of the most beautiful and picturesque cities in the world, I can't wait to see it from this vantage point.
  8. The best thing about Mitch's coaster poll is not the results. It's the ability to identify and single out the tools that incessantly complain about them.
  9. ^ Beats me. I've given up on trying to figure out which model is which with them. The Barbie Fiat 500? Why did I not hear about this??
  10. I spent all my school years in Florida, and I can't ever remember getting out before the 12th of June. Perhaps that's changed? I'm not sure. Regardless though, early June can *sometimes* help avoid the oppressive heat and humidity of mid to late summer Florida. Thinking deeper now, if I had to choose in your position, I'd pick the first week of June, and late August would be my second choice.
  11. ^ That's probably your next best bet I suppose. Kids don't get out until around the 12th or so, I believe?
  12. The Zonda reminds me of something your annoying local tuner kids and Paris Hilton designed together. Seriously, it's tough to look cool in something like this....... Is a toy poodle a standard accessory on this thing?
  13. ^^ I know. In this picture, is there seriously just an unguarded chain link fence between the patrons and a gator large enough to snack on annoying children? Not that I'm opposed, just making sure my eyes don't deceive me. Oh, and you're still a comic genius in my book.
  14. Same. Keep up the recipes like that, and you'll become The Stig's "American Cousin."
  15. THIS. Seriously, my best advice: Wait until September/ October if at all possible. Florida summers SUCK. (Unfortunately I can't type that any larger)
  16. I thought it was a bit weird, and rather a shame, that the "Documentary Short Subject" category got more airtime than the "Documentary Feature" category. I sat there watching the latter category's nominees thinking, "Wait, what the hell are any of these actually about??" Those two, and the technical categories are most interesting to me. The rest are mostly politics. Also, did I catch some audience members moaning about Christian Bale giving his character's real life inspiration a "plug" during his speech?
  17. That is the worst execution of an idea in the history of mankind. How do you open an "arcade" (I use that term very loosely in this case) celebrating a classic video game, and not have at least one classic video game in it........especially the one the film centers around?!?!?* As a child of the 80's, I'm almost embarrassed and insulted by his efforts on that place. It's bad when Erik and Smisty's humor can't even save your place. * Yes, folks, I realize they plan to receive one, but still, the place opened without it. That's business plan FAIL right there.
  18. ^ It's cheap compared to a Ferrari because it's just a high end go-cart.
  19. ^ Emily, thanks for joining! I am currently in contact with the ride's owner, and have been for months now. I can't tell you too much right now, other than, yes, the ride is in Kentucky on the owner's land. We're working hard on giving Kick Boodie new life, so please keep checking back here. Also, I can't give you an exact time frame, but I'm getting real close to having a video posted!
