  1. I'm leaning towards no as well. It's just such a damn sexy car that I wanna overlook the wheels, or at least just "excuse" them in this instance. It's like a supermodel wearing Ug boots.
  2. Maybe they could throw a 10,000 foot tall "London Eye-type" ferris wheel into the proposal. That seems to be the "in" thing these days.
  3. Danny Ainge killed our hopes already. These playoffs are just an afterthought.
  4. Do the Foose wheels work here, or not? I'm on the fence.
  5. "Challenge" is an odd name for the thread, considering no one really wins on this one. For me, I'm perfectly content with 7 and holding.
  6. Prince Desmond? Scott "longs for the days of simple announcements" B.
  7. A great aerial view of the castle construction, and the scale of it all.
  8. imawesome1124, I'm gonna say this in the nicest possible way, and I'm sure I speak for every hockey fan in here. Shut up. Please. My favorite team hasn't won the Cup since I've been alive. You know who I blame for that? MY FAVORITE TEAM. End of story. You should consider the same train of thought.
  9. I've always been tempted to look deeper into the whole "Hidden Mickey" thing and seek 'em all out, but I always find myself getting lazy about it. It's much easier to sit back and watch someone else put together a great look at it like you have. And the monorail pic helped me smile on what's been a bad Monday thus far, so thanks for that! EDIT: Also, unless they're referring to the three gray spots on her shirt pocket which loosely form an upside down Mickey, I don't see it either. Or, do they mean the right shirt pocket as we're looking at her, and not actually "her" right side?
  10. I don't speak British, so I can't watch it. Thanks for pointing it out though.
  11. Side Note: If you're looking for the Grand Canyon in California, you may be a bit disappointed.
  12. Joe, I'm kinda surprised you dig that. For me, I'll take the Aston they did. It's just sexy as hell.
  13. David Beckham's Porsche. On a scale of 1 to 10, how obnoxiously over-the-top is this (1 being the least)?
  14. Eh, I think that's a skewed way to look at it. Not if you don't put much stock in post season awards; especially in a position as unstable as Head Coach.
  15. This report is already Hall of Fame material. Very well done, Danny, and I'm definitely anxious for more!
  16. I think I mentioned it on Facebook, but it's worth repeating......this looks frickin' AWESOME! Glad you guys had a great time!
  17. Sheesh, did they hire Ed Hardy to make this garbage?
  18. Member "Photoflight" has several more aerial shots posted on his site from the end of March.
  19. My "Coach of the Year" is always the Stanley Cup winning coach.
  20. Okay, chief. First of all, it's not a rant. It's a logical, and intelligently crafted response of my opinion on the matter, as opposed to "Well actually I'm right because I was there and it was excessive force." In the end, it doesn't matter what either of our opinions are, but if you're gonna debate something or match wits with me on an internet forum, then at least make a little effort to form a response with some substance. Of course not. Pittsburgh is immune to the ills of society. My mistake. No, I don't. In fact, I don't have any idea wtf G20 is, unless Infiniti released a new vehicle. Again, on the matter of substance, providing a link to back up your thoughts or information might help now and then. Listen, I'm not here with the intention of breaking balls. I'm always up for intelligent debate and discussion, but if that's really all you have to offer, then I'm also not opposed to discussing what you could do with that violin emoticon. Have a nice day.
  21. Wait, you're right because you happened to be there? Sorry, but do you know how foolish that sounds? And it was security's fault????? Are you serious?? From where you were seated, you couldn't possibly have seen or heard anything close enough to make a sound decision on the matter. What I saw on YouTube was the exact same vantage point you had. Over my life I've been to plenty of games where plenty of fights have broken out. Unless you're A) A participant in the altercation, or B) Sitting within range to clearly overhear or oversee what transpires, all you have to go on is seeing a section of the stadium suddenly rise to their feet. The bottom line is this: resisting arrest is still...wait for it....resisting arrest. None of us really know all that was said before the camera picked up the action. I think it's fairly obvious, based on various reports, that the guy was drunk, disturbing other fans, and refused to leave the stadium before the police were forced to intervene and escort him from his seat. All of that sounds like standard protocol from anything I've ever witnessed at a game. When the guy gets to the base of the stairs, he tries to "high five" someone, and a security guard is caught between them. He then hits/shoves the security guard. Okay, again, we don't know everything leading up to that point, but obviously this is where the police deemed it necessary to taser the guy. Whether you agree with the quick trigger or not, the fact is the guy was unfazed by it, and repeatedly resisted police. The fact that he did not drop the unidentified object he was holding didn't help his case any. I'm sorry, but the way I see it, if a cop repeatedly tells you to drop something and submit.......YOU DO IT. PERIOD. Put yourself in the mindset of those cops at that very moment. It's not necessarily the fact that the perp wasn't cooperating, OR that he was possibly posing a huge threat to them. Take into account that they're now surrounded by hundreds of possibly unruly fans (remember, based on the ignorant "USA" chants, we don't now exactly who they were in support of. Was it mocking, or were they anti-establishment fueled toward the cops? Can you say for sure??) You call it excessive force. I call it taking control of a situation before it escalates into something potentially much much worse. If it had been me in those cops' shoes, it would've taken every ounce of self control not to beat the everliving hell out of that dbag. Moral of the story: when a cop tells you to do something........YOU DO IT......and bad things won't happen.
  22. Wrong. It wasn't enough force. A crack to the skull would have been nice.
  23. Anyone get a weird "Chinese Pink Floyd" moment from this? "We don't need no education.....just Mickey Mouse."
