  1. I've played with Siri over the weekend and it seems pretty cool, but there's not enough of a jump to change from my 4. I tried to set up iCloud yesterday but I needed to have a computer to change my me.com account over and I wasn't near one. I guess i'll sort it out over this week at some point. Are people getting onboard with iTunes match? Dave
  2. As far as BMW goes, this has to be the best body they've ever done...
  3. ^^ The only ride that needs relocating from that place is the Schwarzkopf! RCDB says it's still not gone anywhere else
  4. At this rate we might see theming start to go in before the season is out!
  5. ^ It won't disappoint! Especially if you stay on site!
  6. I'll probably upgrade to iOS5 this evening, my friends who have had it for a few months/days have been raving about it but I've never been too quick on the uptake (I'm still on Snow Leopard!). I'm giving the iPhone 4S a miss as I've still got 6 months on my contract so I'll wait another 6 months and get a 4G device. Dave
  7. Ha! I think i saw you a couple of times round the park, glad you had fun Save
  8. I'm loving cars land, it's the only bit of DCA that I'm interested in with this whole renovation thing but it's not disappointing!!
  9. Nice to see everything moving along quickly, they're making good use of the dry conditions, very rare for October!
  10. Nice, I just hope the ride lives up to the concept art! If it goes down well it would be awesome to see a few more of these at the other Legoland parks.
  11. Wow! This thing is looking awesome, I dong know if I'll be able to get our there next year but hopefully I'll manage a weekend trip. You dong really need a reason to visit EP normally, this thing is just tipping the balance though
  12. I think these things are awesome! Definitely the most screwed up drop towers out there, I think intamin should still sell th alongside the OMFG 300-400 ft towers they do
  13. I think everyone already had that figured out... Dragon Khan, sorry I should have been more clear. The supports on stealth are sand filled
  14. It was discussed for Stealth to be a Mission Impossible theme. As a matter of fact "Stealth" was the name given to the project while negotiating was done to get the license. Tom Cruise is a major partner in that franchise and he is the one that killed the deal not Paramount. That's really interesting Shane, as far as I'm aware, Thorpe Parks' Stealth was only a project name too, at the last minute they dropped "the edge" after printing ride signs and merchandising and went back to Stealth. So it's been the backup plan twice! Dave
  15. Stealth was sand filled and this is on the same side of the park so I assume it will be too. I *think* all of Thorpe's coasters are but I'm not sure about Colossus, anyone know?
  16. Sorry, where is that from? Dave
  17. I saw a really interesting talk recently from a maritime historian talking about the cruise market today. In essence he said that Carnival cruise lines (as opposed to Carnival corp. & PLC) exist to provide you with a cruise that's good but not great and make you want to do another cruise but not with Carnival. This with the intention of upselling into the Carnival Corp. & PLC pyramid of lines that offer a better experience (Seabourn, Cunard etc.). Essentially the parent company owns 11 unique brands, one of which is a feeder mechanism to the others. It's a pretty interesting model, and although I've never heard anyone come out of a carnival cruise with a positive experience, it seems to be working for them :S
  18. ^ It's not really big enough for that, but I would LOVE to see something on a smaller scale! Such a great ride.
  19. ^That is the epic (but slightly late) dive show... Dave
  20. ^ The bastards deserted me. The Brit Crew Sucks. Dave
  21. Oooh nice! I can't wait Dave
  22. There are many normal pictures of me I'll have you know! Great TR Divv. One of these statements is not like the other...
  23. This building seems way too small for that. Also, haven't they hinted at something from the swiss? Dave
  24. Hold B&M responsible for what? Being a company that needs to sell products? Using good design elements to win a contract? Thorpe have nothing to be bitter about, they have no IP over the element so they can't be pissed off that another client has chosen to use it. Dave
