I don't think I had Potato patch fries last year (or at least I don't remember it!). I'll have to try if I ever end up at Kennywood again!

I saw the watch the throne tour in London last week and it was awesome! I wasn't sure what the crowd was going to be like since I've only really done "rock" gigs, but I had a great time. Coldplay on Friday and Blink in a couple of weeks, I can't wait!

^ Well this is only a successful appeal against a decision that was made against them after 9 years of proceedings. Don't be so quick to call it either way. I just hate the irony that these people are fighting this court battle with money made from a pottery company that is very loud, but the people that live near it can't go to court because they can't afford it. I know that these guys were there before the park, but there has to be a point to just accept it. Alton Towers is a great economic benefit to the area and a favourite with vast numbers of the population. Just let it be.

Given how popular these devices are at the parks they're already installed in, I'm surprised it's taken this long to get them trailed at other big chains. The storage issue is odd, but hopefully they get all the teething issues sorted and roll these out soon!

You're kidding, right? You just posted a picture in which the super-tall brake run CLEARLY has something it needs to be built over. And it's taller than most B&M mid-courses because, oh, I don't know, this ride is taller than all of those rides, double or triple a lot of them? And it is the ride's mid-course. Since you're a Paint Engineer, you'd think you would understand that the flat portion of Leviathan's brake run serves as an MCBR to allow another train to crest the lift safely. I guess the degree you have doesn't make that clear. The comment might have been ill judged, but chill out a bit with the flaming.

Meh, I doubt this will be highly missed. I can imagine it's costing the a fortune for the customer satisfaction/ridership they get back from it. NEVER!!

Ha! Park specific forums often do feel like that! Fair enough the ride might warrant the upgrade, but I'm not sure it's worth it for the amount of time it'll take. This is really short notice to take the new and very highly rated ride out of action for a few days for a very minor change, hopefully they don't piss off too many tourists.

Wow, I didn't realise how big Antarctica is going to be! It's a more major addition than I though. Turtle Trek looks nice, so much has changed at this park since I was last there, I want to go back

Its not like you can't take loose articles on Disney rides as it is, and they could put netting up or something to stop them being thrown onto people below.Disney aren't the kind of company to let a minor inconvenience stop a decent idea!

Ha! There's a "best B&M train theming that ISN'T duelling dragons" thread somewhere, I should dig it up! Although Boulder Dash at night is pretty close, I still think El Toro takes it.
