The frustration this time is that they replaced something that worked amazingly well with something that kinda sucks. I completely agree, sorry I didn't make a very good point with the cut & paste thing. I wouldn't have minded if they worked this in the background or made it an app store app that you could use while they developed it while still having google maps on the home screen. This may well be a good long term move for Apple, but I wish they didn't force users arms while they made the switch.

I was at a car event yesterday and a McLaren development engineer turned up with an MP4-12C convertible! The first one is being delivered in a couple of weeks so there's not many knocking about right now. The roof mechanism is lovely, I completely forgot to get video of it but needless to say they spent a lot of time making it look great and open/close fast!

I think we all knew the theming was going to be good, but that looks awesome! I can't wait to see what else they have in the ride area.

^ How is the second maze fitting in the towers? Ar they altering the one that is already there? I'd be a shame to downgrade the one in the towers because I really like that one. It's a good 10 minute walkthrough and I love the ending!

I got a pair of Klipsch X10i headphones a few months ago and I'm loving them, they sound as good as they look and they are so comfortable I forget that they are there after about 5 minutes of use. I don't know what price bracket you're looking for but in the $150-200 range these are definitely worth a look.

^ Yeah, but I prefer the mobile site. In order to play a youtube video via airplay on the app, I have to go and mirror my screen (rather than just hitting the "AppleTV" button in the breakout video player on the website). Nothing major, but niggling enough to annoy me! Maybe i'll prefer it when they update it for the larger screen, it could just be that I'm getting more content on the mobile site because I'm viewing it in Safari. Dave

I'm amazed that this turns enough money to warrant this rollout, it was a nice enough walk through when I did it but not something I would have thought would really bring in a lot of cash. I'll be interested to see how many of these are there in 3-5 years

I can't get away from the notion that this isn't about improving the guest experience, but rather just getting more money through the door. So if this is replacing "se7en" does that mean that the experiment 10 one is going? I didn't think too much of it but it seemed to scare a few people so I assumed it was staying.

^I was very dubious about the new maps app (I got the vibe that they were trying to distance themselves from Google more than create a better experience for the end user) but a friend of mine who is a developer has been using it for a while and was raving to me about it a few days ago. Apparently the turn by turn works fantastically. The only thing he says it is missing is GPS readout of your speed. I can't wait to get my hands on the phone!

Intriguing, it will be interesting to see what kind of theme they work that into.
