I think we can all calm down and stop second guessing the engineers. This looks awesome, I too worry about maintenance (my overriding memory of this this is extreme pain!!) but hopefully the park does a better job of protecting their investment this time around.

Yeah, it's good to see an article written by someone who understands the subject rather than a reporter who has been given a brief and just goes by stats!!

I'm intrigued by the new train design (and slightly creeped out by the laughing people, but that's probably intentional!). Eurofighters sometimes don't age very well so I'd like to see how these trains ride in a few seasons time.

Liking the screen! Not sure how long before all the pixels start dying though! That's certainly a novel bit of theming from them

Have they announced the cost of this project? I wouldn't have thought they could be too far off new coaster money with the scale of this, hopefully it's worth it!

I think it's ejector for me, the crazy and out of control feeling is hard to match! I've got nothing against floater airtime, it can be quite nice on a smooth lumbering B&M but I just prefer a more "upbeat" coaster

Interesting!! I like the idea of the huge internal screens but I'm not sure if the effect will be as good as the virtual portholes since everything I've seen about the Disney ship says they have super high res screens. If they can get the resolution right on a large panel then this will looks breathtaking, I guess we have to wait and see
