R I P Ronnie,just glad i got to see him play live with his own band and sabbath.

I also went to the towers today,the whole dark forest area looks fantastic,and has loads of atmosphere loved the wraiths walking round,as for the ride,really enjoyed the ride,and if as posted earlier all the effects aren't working it can only get better.

The people who were coming with me to alton on saturday have decided not to come now,so if anyone wants to meet up let me know,i will be arriving for the opening at 9am.

I didn't think there was ERT on this ride,i hope there is!

I've just watched an article on the local news(central news),it was a much better piece of video,probably cause it was better edited and it made the ride and "surprise" look so much better than the GMTV piece this morning. Can't wait till saturday to experience the ride properly.

My earlier post may have seemed negative but i am still looking forward to riding this on saturday,hopefully with the effects and possible different drop program it will be an excellent ride experience.

After watching GMTV my feelings are the same as the post above,also i wonder if the dark section has other effects that haven't been shown,or you could'nt see from the footage.

Count me in,can't wait.

Mine will be at Alton Towers for their new coaster.

I am so pleased that it looks like all this work is going to be done and the park will get back to the place i used to visit as a teenager in the early 80's. I had many a happy day spent there in the summer holidays.

Thanks for the info,but we only have a couple of spare days and limited cash so 2 parks is really our limit,so maybe we will have to just pay on the gate as i could only find a 5 day pass,and it was a bit more than we could afford. Thanks again

Going to Cedar point,end of may for a seven day trip,40th birthday(should i or ). I wondered if there are parks close enough to do a detour for 3 or 4 days? If anyone could give me a few pointers it would be appreciated.
