Per Live Pigeon Forge Chamber video: Great Smoky Mountains National Park will reopen May 1st. Pigeon Forge is reopening May 1st & some businesses may open Monday April, 27th. Hotels will be doing "contact-less checkins". Restaurants will be doing limited seating to follow distancing guidelines. Most theaters will reopen May 9th & will also do limited seating. Dollywood and Splash County will tentatively open June 1st.

I was optimistic until Knott's revealed CF's plans to roll over passes to 2021. Since then, I become more convinced each day that they wont open at all this year.

Hershey has extended passes through June 2021 for now.

This will be chain wide. No way they are going to have multiple Platinum passes or just have it apply to select parks. The description confirms it's across the chain. Looking like 2020 may not happen at all or be very very late.

Be honest with yourself: They aren't going to open in May. You'll get your money back.

I'm going to bet we some strong sales and offers from parks if/when this blows over. Not suggesting this is a bad play at all, but I think we might see some out of ordinary deals this year.

Six Flags America has announced they are delaying things. Seems logical the rest will be following soon.

Carowinds is delaying opening to April 3rd weekend. Castaway Bay closing. Knott's is closing now. Appears CF is starting their shut down procedures. EDIT: Notification now removed from Carowinds. It was there temporarily.

Visit any shop with drinks and they can give you a new cup. They will scan your card and mark that they gave it to you. If you check the mobile app, it's listed under your rewards.

The new expansion announcement has been postponed and will not happen tomorrow.

Cedar Point will be opening for free on May 2 and 3. Ride wristbands will be $20.20. Must RSVP beforehand. No tickets or wristbands for purchase at the park. Ride schedule is currently Blue Streak, Gatekeeper, Maxair, Raptor, Valravn, WT, WS, and kid rides. Passholder preview nights 4-8pm on May 6, 7.

Obv every ride/company is different, but I'm pretty sure Mine Blower opened 5 days after they sent the first train. It's all so exciting. What a ride. Can't wait.
