  1. Guy works in guest relations. Park would be absolutely dead without this. They need people in there to hopefully spend money.
  2. I'd stay somewhere cheap a couple hours from KI. Finish up the drive the next morning. I wouldn't want to pay Breakers price and get there so late.
  3. Starting Monday you can make a second reservation. This includes passholder week.
  4. You can pick if you want to go arrival or departure date. So either would work.
  5. Technically, the Flash Pass is an electronic queue. Is Holiday World the only park in the country running virtual queues this summer?
  6. Hours will be 11-8. I'm down with that. Looking forward to it. No water park this year. Passholders and hotel guests only until July 23.
  7. Now official. Passholders/members on July 3, everyone July 4.
  8. Can confirm the Made To Thrill stuff is all around the park and looks great.
  9. Looks good to me. With 2 days at Kings Island, I'd probably knock out the drive Sunday night as well and stay somewhere cheap closer to Sandusky. See you at Cedar Point. I'm starting at Kennywood instead of KI.
  10. If you have a Platinum pass use the code PASS. Makes the Express about $130/nt July 12-14.
  11. Where did these numbers come from? When you pick a time slot, available # of slots are shown.
  12. I think it's almost guaranteed. You only get 1 reservation for the first X days unless you stay in their hotel.
  13. A note on reservations: Only 1 day per pass for the initial July 2-11 period. Pick you day carefully. Reservation system opens tomorrow.
  14. Hours for July posted. 11 - 7pm each day except July 4 which is open til 10pm.
  15. Drove up here Saturday. No problems getting in. The wristband and the virtual queue system was easy enough. Needs some tweaks but it seemed to work well for coasters and the more popular rides. Wait out the clock, scan in, and then wait 5-20 minutes in line. It varies a bit. Some of the staff assigning groups to rows are better than others. They were loading groups together. Then they skip a row and load the next group. This gets more people on than the Six Flags every other row method. Employees were all great. No problems getting food. Merch selection this year is much better. Better Tshirts, posters, all kinds of good stuff. Great to get back on Voyage and the others. Great weekend.
  16. KI (and presumably CF parks) are now non-smoking inside. Smoking area is outside the front gate.
  17. Nope. I think that ended in 2018.
  18. Still waiting on reservations. New rumors swirling that CP will close at 8pm this season.
  19. I was at SFoG today. Getting in was a breeze and just like described above. I was one of the first people in the park. It was like having the park to yourself for the first few hours. No lines. I have the season FP and picked it up before they started the rides at noon. I think I only used it once or twice right before I left around 4:30. No lines otherwise. Had a zen ride on GASM and Superman today. GASM...refurbed trains look nice. Lift hill, drop, and second hill are good now. But, as you turn the corner on the second hill, there's a clear line where it goes from looking nice to looking like rotting wood that has been abandoned for decades. Still rough, and everything after the turnaround is just torture. I'm told it's a 5-year plan to redo the whole thing. No complaints here. People seem to be trying to wear masks. Security was asking people and letting them know it's required. Ride ops always announced masks were required. I saw Dale out reminding people to wear their mask. Not every nose was covered. Some people would lower them to their chin while in line, during rides, and other places. But it seemed like folks were making a decent effort. It was mid 70s today. When it's mid 80s and above, I suspect compliance will start slipping. Kids seemed to be doing good at wearing them for the most part. I'm curious to see how this looks in a few weeks when I'm back in the area.
  20. Passholder days July 1, 2 Open to everyone July 3 Candymonium will open at this time, too.
  21. They will be offering a 1 day digital photo pass for $19.99. Didn't catch the price of the season long option.
  22. Unless I can't get reservations, I'll be there when they open for a few days. It could be a great time to be at the park with lower capacity and people deciding to stay away. It could be a shit show. I'm up for either and will have good time. May skip out on Saturday and run over to Kennywood for their opening day.
  23. Buddy of mine rode it about 20 times on Sunday.
  24. Rumors are Fast Lane will be honored this year but will not be sold. Got the year or single days purchased during sales already? You're good.
