Top Thrill Dragster is opening today.

I'm seeing possibly Saturday for TTD on reddit. Sounds like you guys had a good day and it's calmed down a bit. Nice.

My guess is Fast Lane will go on sale the day after Dragster opens up. Possibly this week/end.

I thought the virtual queue was good. Takes awhile to fine tune that type of thing but it seemed to work pretty well. On a hot day I went to the car and took a nap while waiting for the Voyage. Seems better than standing in line. I could see offering a premium option where it cuts the times by some % being very easy to implement (and probably already in the software).

I need shoulder work. I'm not looking forward to the down time. I really wish I had done it first of the year but who knew what was coming. Best of luck with the procedure and rehab. No idea how long I'll put it off.

I think they'll add more operating days and hours. That's about it.

Today was blazing hot at the park. I was there July 4th weekend but today felt miserably hot. Lots of people. Queue lines had people in them. More people at the park than I expected. Good to see.

RMC makes nice things but their trains suck. Maverick rules CP.

Season FL not available at KI any more. Fiends, ebay, etc might help you.

Screenshots from six flags apps this week suggest virtual flash passes and skip the line passes are coming. Seems they have a virtual queue system ready to go sometime soon.

Day 3 at the park today. Had Fast Lane. SV x 8, Maverick x 15, MF and Magnum x 6, Iron Dragon x 1 (wife needed the credit), and the Giant Wheel. Every ride was a walk-on. Only twice did I see another person behind me in the FL line. Tried twice to ride the train but that is quite the time commitment now. They spend 10-15 minutes unloading row by row and then cleaning the whole train. Missed getting on by 1 group the first time. Second time one other group was ahead of us when they closed the gate, again. Backbeat and Chick fil A were both good.

Access passes have changed day to day. On Sunday they did them hourly. People formed a big line about 1:15. Then at 1:45 they would give out the 3-4 cards. Repeat each hour. Makes for a weird dynamic in that section. It'll be empty, then 25 minutes later a couple hundred people have a line formed waiting on cards. SV had pretty short lines when you used your pass. Maverick was still a 30-90 minute wait most of the time. MF probably has the most tickets and they last the longest. I was not around that area much yesterday so I'm not sure if lines formed there every hour. Queue there seemed to be 30-45 minutes when you use used your pass.

Fast Lane was back to normal today. It was nice to have Maverick and SV be compete walk ons all day.

God damn it there's another type. *sigh*. Oh well. EDIT: Wait, isn't that just another Gyro tower? EDIT 2: No, I see they tilt...so either that or Falcons Fury will check off the tilting-seat type. You need both. One is sitting, one is standing.

My day at CP today. Had 11am reservations. Arrived at 10:30. Entered the park about 10 minutes later and went straight to SV. Got 2 passes (me and wife). Went to Maverick and we both were able to get a pair of tickets. They were asking to see people and not just handing out whatever people asked for. Went straight back to MF. It was late opening. We got 2 access passes and then joined the line waiting for it to open. They said first 300 or so would be let in now, then cards start. So, we got a 'free' ride on MF to start. MF opened about 1130 I'd say. After that, we hit up Backbeat. Good lunch. Went to Magnum. Line took about an hour. It was about 2:30 now so we went to MF for our 3pm access card. They let us enter the line and it took about 40 minutes. Good work at MF. 4pm access card for Maverick so we went back there. They let us enter when we got there about 3:30. Line was around an hour an a half. Dinner at Chick Fil A. Short line. 6pm card for SV..showed up a few minutes early and got in line. Got off at 7:25. Ran across to Maverick and the girl let me in with my extra pair of passes from earlier in the day. Got on the next to last train. I felt we got lucky to get 6 rides in today. It's better than being at home but I'm also glad this wasn't my first and only visit for awhile. We'll see how they do tomorrow.

Only coasters closed were TTD, Rougarou, Gemini, Blues Streak, and Corkscrew day 1. Thanks from Tony last night indicates Fast Lane problems should be solved now and work as normal if you have one.

Yes. They have only completed the lift hill and the first hill after that. Everything else is still awful. It's a multi-year project.

If you aren't going this year, why worry about cancelling? Don't sweat it. Take care and hopefully we'll see you next year.

Ride lines will be cut off early this year. Not sure which ones but I'm guessing the big coasters. Sign I saw appeared to at MF. Signs say the line will close before 8:00 due to low capacity.

Starting to cut some hours. Now closed on Thursdays after this week.
