  1. Pretty sure it was open today.
  2. Timber Terror backwards at night sounds fun!
  3. Holiwood Nights was a great time last weekend. Can't wait to go back next year. Seemed like everyone was having a blast and the atmosphere was just great.
  4. FL available again for this Sat and Sun. $95 now.
  5. Employee opening of FLY on Monday. Not much longer til the public can check it out.
  6. They move the cameras often. Most of the season one has been pointed at the parking lot more often than not.
  7. Cedar Point's stupid FL rules were only used for 3 or 4 days then it was back to normal. FL at KI same as it's always been. $90 for walk ons all day. Do have to buy online and it's not uncommon for them to sell out now days. I'm not positive but I've read they stop sales day of even if they aren't sold out.
  8. You have proper expectations. That Raptor line was always the longest in the park every day I've visited this year. Hit it early if you can, obv. Get over there after your early MF ride. A couple weeks ago when I went, lines did seem to start forming 45-60 min early for afternoon passes. You should be fine.
  9. You can prob get a SV pass, then Mav, then walk over to MF, get a pass and hopefully jump in line at MF for a ride before noon. If you want Dragster and can be one of the first few to get a pass when they start, you can probably start there. Then wrap around and get Steel Vengeance, etc.
  10. I swung by Beech Bend on my way home today. First visit. I liked the place. Went to ride Kentucky Rumbler mainly, but rode lots of things and caught their comedy western show. We had fun. Not water park fans, so didn't venture over there. First ride on Rumbler was good. NHRA was running at the drag strip and we saw a race as we went up the lift hill. Good little coaster for the park. Log flume was great. We loved the haunted house. Moby Dick was fun. Solid drop tower. Had no idea of the history of Sea Dragon and got a kick out of that. Ride ops were great. Maybe 100 people in the dry park while we were there. If you are around the area and like smaller parks, this one is good.
  11. It was removed beginning of the 2019 season.
  12. Just in case you didn't know, Holiwood Nights is Fri and Sat at Holiday World. KK has their own event on Sunday, as well.
  13. I sat on the back row for 3 laps in a row a couple weeks ago. No complaints. Ended my visit last year sitting on the back row for 5 or 6 laps. I like it. I also enjoy the Racer. If anyone is going to make it over, let GCI do it. They have new track they are working on. Great place to debut that.
  14. LR was back open? Reports on FB were it had been closed for a week+. Claims about track work. Opened again on Friday. Ran most of the weekend and is currently running today.
  15. Candymonium. Next will probably be The Voyage.
  16. On Monday they let everyone in early. I had eBay tickets and walked in with everyone else at 10. Lots of others just had day tickets. They dropped the rope at Chick Fil A at 11am
  17. I was there on Monday. Longest line I had was about a 30 min wait on Racer later in the day. I literally had 10 rides in before noon and kept riding all coasters all day. Get there by 10. I had a few laps on Candy, one on Comet, and a couple on Skyrush before 11 when they open the rest of the park up.
  18. You stand in a long line for 20 minutes to get a pass instead of a 3 hour line to ride the attraction. Most times when you return with your pass, wait is less than a half hour. This doesn't always work out due to shutdowns, etc. but that's the idea. It also encourages spending money since you don't have to stand in a 3 hour line.
  19. But typically you hear it the whole time you're in line as well. Or walking around that area of the park. It's fairly loud.
  20. This past Saturday I was roughly 4th in line for TTD passes at 11am. After collecting those, we walked around the back and got SV passes without an issue. Stood in line and got Maverick (they still had fairly decent stacks for a couple time slots). Then, we walked down to MF and got passes there without any issue. Later in the day we handed those passes out to randoms and helped some people out. Getting them wasn't really a problem or struggle if you are in the park at 10. Could have gotten straight into TTD dragster instead of passes but figured we'd collect all passes just in case before we started riding.
  21. Nice! Just saw the email here. That's good news.
  22. I doubt that lawsuit has anything to do with it's closure. But, I'm just guessing. It not as if the accident happened last year.
  23. Bayern Kurve on Sunday was good stuff. Had never been on one and typically wouldn't, but it's rare and I've heard so much praise about it. Glad I did. It's fairly intense and made me smile. We did more flats than normal. The Whip is always fun, too. Phantom always delivers. Rode it a bunch. Sky Rocket was one train ops and a 45+ min wait, so I skipped it to ride the others more. Been on it before and would rather ride JR a couple more times. Other than SR, lines were 5-15 minutes most of the day for everything else.
  24. Had a great visit here today. Still love the park. Candymonium is great. I'd say I prefer it to Orion. Even with the trims this seems to be one of best B&M airtime machines around. One thing that's sort of odd about it....just seems so separated from the rest of park. It's out by gates, sort of all by itself. I rode Skyrush a ton today. Love that guy. Love the wooden coasters too. We even did Cupfusion because the line was only 15 min or so. Maybe the best shooter I've been on but not really my thing. The air conditioning was the best part.
