  1. Process at any park that's open. Six Flags and SEAS force you to do an activation at the park you buy from.
  2. Go to CW site. Click to buy something like a season pass. You'll see it in the popup transaction window. Under 2021 Season Pass -> 2021 Add Ons.
  3. Sure you can. Also true for dining, pix, plat passes, etc.
  4. From what I understand, it was the new President that took over a couple months ago that made the call. Not sure if he just gets the credit, or if he really did have a hand in it. Either way, great news for sure.
  5. They are year round. Just a bonus event inside the park. SFoT and SFFT are both working their asses off putting together events and keeping their parks going strong. Also, they confirmed at Winterfest they are adding the turn table and extra boat for Aquaman this year.
  6. They did eventually put plastic on at least some of the trams (maybe just the long ones). I do the same as you; I always walk to the park and back from my car. Good way to get some steps and I find it relaxing at the end of the evening when the lots are mostly empty.
  7. Didn't get to Dollywood til November and December. Masks on guests inside the park was probably one of the worst I've seen on some days, better on others. I hit about a dozen parks this year. No one cares about 6 feet inside Dollywood. Walk, don't take the tram at the end of the night. It's a cluster over there and not worth the time. Lines are healthy on busy days. It wasn't easy to find low attendance days to have some marathons like normal years after August.
  8. June 11-13: Coaster Rodeo Multi-day enthusiast event featuring full park ERT, behind the scenes tours, etc. Sounds fun!
  9. I would imagine he has pull but I'm not 100% sure what all he does. Seems when SFoT got a new President this year he started improving things. They have different events. Same for SFFT. Other Six Flags parks seem to try much harder. SFoG continually has the worst employee attitudes across the board and the park isn't run very well. I think new blood would help it. The place is deserted in December because people in Atlanta don't even know it's open. And if they did, why go? It's nothing new. Same lights every year and the same crappy chicken tenders and fries they always have.
  10. I doubt iy I doubt it. SFoG doesn't care to do anything new or different. The president just doesn't care.
  11. SFoG management has commented and said that detachable lens are allowed and they should not have been harassed over that.
  12. SFoG has some of the worst employees and ride ops in the country. This doesn't surprise me. The park in general seems to phone it in now days. The president of the park doesn't care about improving or doing anything new.
  13. It only opens to the public after safety tests, inspections, and certification. I would think that's all people need to know.
  14. Rumors have been strong that BGW is going year round in some capacity. Good to see. Hope to get over there sooner rather than later.
  15. Dead. You probably wont see any lines over 10 or 20 min, if that.
  16. This didn't happen on the first run. It had completed the course previously. Thankfully no one was hurt and they were still testing. Wonder who pays for all of that? Seems like it might be the new train's wheel assembly at fault.
  17. The addition looks great. I'd love to walk around it for a few hours. I can't imagine this place on a busy day. Or the first year it's opened at any parks in the US. I also thought it was odd they encourage punching the new addition. People will be punching everything in there.
  18. Rampage in Birmingham. Kentucky Rumbler at Beech Bend is decent and they have Michael Jackson's Sea Dragon. Indiana Beach is <= 6 hrs. Six Flag StL and Silver Dollar City are under 8 hrs from Nashville. That's usually about my 'days drive' radius.
  19. I did 26 days in parks across the country this year. I hope to do many more next year. Planning: SFStL, SFFT, BGW, SFA, SFGAd, SFGm, Holiday World, SDC, Mt Olympus, Silverwood, Lagoon, Universal, BGT, SWSA, and SWO. Dollywood is nearby so I'll be there a few days. Realistic: I think I'll get to all the above. Would have hit several this year if things had been normal. If things really progress, I'd love to do Scary Farm / MM again or do Halloween in the UK and visit my brother.
  20. Toughest mask mandates in the country for months and months. When will masks start working?
  21. Has to be a typo. The thing is like 70% built already. I can't imagine they are pushing things another year quite yet. Not saying it couldn't eventually happen if things get even more crazy but seems early.
  22. I filled out one of these this week. I basically put I would not show up unless rides were going on each scenario they presented.
  23. I really wanted to hop on there Sunday but it was too cold for me. Didn't want to have wet feet all day.
