Mystery Mine up and running today. Reports suggest the outside was the only work and it is still just as rough as ever everywhere else.

It was posted briefly on their website yesterday. ACE SoCal has a screenshot. I think all previous leaks like this have panned out to be true. I'd imagine they will make it official later this week.

Word is it's been running well today.

Give it a week or two. When it's running every day without major problem, take a shot and come down. There's a coaster event in a month or two. Not sure which group. Might be a good time to hit the park, get some ERT and only spend a bit more than regular tickets. And their coaster event Thrills in the Hills is in June, I think. This has to be temporary. I'm hopeful it'll be up and running as much as all their other coasters not named Mystery Mine very soon. The site times posted pull from the parks wait time system. You're seeing what is displayed on the tvs in the park and app. queue-times.com to look at more parks.

I mean, could be. But this is even further back from the two huge plots of land they have already cleared and graded back there.

If you ride Drop Line, you'll see they've also been clearing trees in the woods out behind the leveled sections behind Wildwood Grove. This isn't some path clearing for a ride, it just seems like they thinned the woods. They seem to have cut down trees everywhere around the park. Did they get a deal on quantity removed?

I will say, leaving the loading platform, turning the corner and seeing the smoke and mist on the first launch segment is cool.

To be fair, Cedar Fair is not in a hurry to do anything now days.

Rough? Did we ride the same ride? Seemed really smooth to me on my rides. Like any other ibox. I'll get back this weekend to try it a few more times. I don't think any parks are skipping rows on coasters anymore.

Man, it's slow going over the launch hill. Looks like it's going to rollback many times. Second ride was great. I was sitting further back. Great ride.

Got on the first public train. First impression: It's smooth. Really smooth. Didn't seem quite as intense. Still a ton of fun. Approx 5000 dead trees all over the backside of the hills.

We've seen a few trains cycling recently. Lots of people on the launch working on the very beginning of it.

Current LR update: Been half a dozen people working over the start of the launch. They sent 2 trains about 60 min ago. Wouldn't surprise me of this doesn't open today. Rain supposed to move in soon..

Other things overhead so far: Employees claim MM flies down that hill and they were surprised they liked it.

Situation right now: "..running good all week until yesterday. We had a few things to look at. Probably going to be at least 2 hrs before it opens." Oh well. What's a couple more hrs?

I'm fairly certain there has been a sign there for years saying the left side going to Acrophobia is a steeper incline. (maybe I'm just thinking about Dollywood between Thunderhead nad the front gate)

Nothing was extended. Instead of the 90 degree drop and turn around, it turns left and drops down into the spiral to the next brakes. The track is now shorter.

Just saw the work. Oh wow. That's a lot more than I thought they were doing. Oh well.

Can't wait to get back to last day of Knotts Scary Farm and Six Flags during slow November. Fingers crossed the Raptor is running. (yeah, right)
