I don't think you'll see any enforcement of the CA resident rule at the park. It's just there for show and to discourage what they can for immediately flying out to CA.

When I was there in early Feb they had tarps covering about half the lift hill. Seemed like a bunch of maint at that time.

Quick note: They only sell 125/day right now. Sold out until April 11th. Normally they do 500. I've also heard they have them at the park but I was lead to believe it was much lower than 100 and you need to there at open and go straight there. Good luck.

If they change perks again next year, they will switch people over after a certain date. So yeah, renew again, you'll get next year's perks. If they keep it the same, you'll get a fresh batch of tickets when you renew. Yes on both parks. Looks like plenty have gone to multiple parks without issue. Almost remember seeing you can reserve a 2nd park on the morning of your initial reservation. Almost like it's processed and you're cleared to reserve again. Perhaps after they scan it. Either way, you wont have a problem.

Normally you can. But, they have sold out many times so far this year days ahead of time. Slower time of year, probably safe except maybe Saturday.

You can use them all the same day you buy it. Platinum is perks outside of parking and entry (and some discounts) will only apply to BGW.

Quickest way to get ahold of them is typically Facebook messages. I asked a question about official hotel perks last night and they got back to me this afternoon.

Yeah, I have to wonder what the timing of the scans are. My first guess would be at least a 5 minute cooldown. I like this system. No wasted time picking it up. Did it at SWSA in Feb like Mike and it worked great there, too.

In May you have schools starting to let out and lots of end of school trips, traditionally. I think every park is going to be slammed most days this year. I think you'll need to get lucky or battle with rain to have a quiet day at DW this year. Timesaver can help out here, but buying in advance is a gamble since you can't be sure everything is running. And they sell out at the park on busy days, quickly. Just like any park in the world, Sun - Thurs is a better chance at lower crowds. Show up before gates open. Still, DW has been nuts crowd wise this year and the last month or two of 2020.

They may not sell them first day but they will return fairly quickly. Pretty much same as KI last year.
