Amazing job so far!! I wish I was this good at models — if I made one, I would want to have it functional

I can't believe I've been gone for a few days and you all still haven't figured out which roller coaster Cedar Point will build next. Pathetic.
Like you know what they’ll do either...

Newsplusnotes posted a fun aerial screenshot from Google Earth that was taken last April. Something that just occurred to me is that the rumored water coaster could probably go on the site of Woodchuck Run since it has been torn out!
What and where was Woodchuck Run? Was it the log flume?
-
^The rumor mill is definitely swirling right now. They key thing to watch for is some sort of announcement from the park about this being Aquaman's final season ect.
Over Georgia is removing their Shoot the Chutes. It was confirmed at ACE Winter Warm-Up that it “would not be returning this season.”

Way to make a first impression on me Mr. Alvey, the legend, which speaks...
Since when was I saying this ride would be better/worse based on its stats? I just want to know how high that spike is and how long the track will be. 50mph is quite a substantial speed for a “family coaster”.
-
You don't seriously think that would stop Six Flags from advertising that, do you?
I had to.
-
Definitely fits the “Scorcher” name!
-
I really wished they would reveal the height and length too.
Why? They just told us about a very immersive, one of the most immersive attractions and you're worried about height and length lol?!?
Sorry, inner stats nerd talking here.
-
They removed Power Surge at SFFT to make way for WWGLC. My guess is the same thing is happening here. Although, I'm not sure an RMC Raptor would be considered a "large footprint" ride.
Exactly! Please add some water effects though because it’s Texas.

I really hope at least one of those “5 new coasters” end up being something substantial like a Gerstlauer eurofighter, Gravity Group kids wooden coaster or if I’m a dreamer an Intamin triple launcher like Sandy’s Blasting Bronco for Nickelodeon Universe NJ.

Bacon cheddar hush puppies?!?!?!
Thanks for this update. Super stoked to check this out in a few weeks!
If they're anything like the hush puppies at the BGW Food & Wine Festival, they're very tasty.
Does that happen on March 23, 2019? That’s when I am going and bacon cheddar hush puppies sound very appetizing.

Screamscape said something, yeah, I try to read that every day. Losing a water ride IN TEXAS would be a huge blow, but let’s hope there is a shiny new RMC Raptor on the way in...
On another hand, Yosemite Sam’s was one of the 7 rides I was able to do in only 4 hours at Over Texas on a rainy day. I absolutely loved it — this darkride went on for much longer than I expected, and that’s a good thing; the sets are really detailed and the story makes for such a cute and cheeky ride! I would hate to loose a unique darkride, and a great one at that!
EDIT: Using Google satellite and the pictures Coastercowboy sent, here is where I believe Lone Star Revolution is going. Seems pretty feasible but it looks like that neighboring pathway would have to be modified to fit Lone Star Recolution in.
Where I think Lone Star Revolution is going, somewhere in this area.

ADMIN EDIT: Please allow the TPR Moderators to post official announcements to the park discussion threads as they are announced. Parks send us their official press releases and posting another news source's article just to be "first" on our thread doesn't help us to share the news from the official source.
50mph?! That’s pretty substantial for what I assumed to be a family coaster!
-
Hey! RMC did say they were working on a prototype Single Rail that would be in between the track size of Raptors (<200ft) and T-Rexes (>300ft)! It will probably be two across as well!
-
Has it been said if the park will open with the mall?
I believe so. Right after Dorney Park gets their giga dive launched flyer.
I second this. And what about that Winged RMC Strata T-Rex with 10 launches for Michigan’s Adventure?
One can dream.
-
People saying a giga or poler coaster are coming are obviously dreamers, not realists. Realistically the most we would be seeing is a GCI or 200 foot RMC single rail.
-
Oh no! Guess this will open in 2020 then, instead of late 2019...
-
But still I can dream of the mountainside GCI... right?
-
And I thought I was a credit whoring coaster enthusiast...
-
Hopefully, you can convince your family to get to the park at opening (or even before), as coasterbill said Twisted Cyclone opens before the rest of the park (at least in 2018) but will build up a long wait quickly.

I had a similar situation at a local Church event. They are a large one, which means they could afford rides and so there were 3 present; a mini chairswing, Larson traveling tilt a whirl and most importantly a caterpillar train with a tunnel on two rails. I couldn’t ride it though, as I passed the age limit by a lot, but I could’ve sworn it was a powered coaster...
My point is you are probably not allowed on it so don’t count it. Also it would’ve been awfully shameful for me to count that little caterpillar ride as my 140th cred.
