  1. ^Save yourself from disappointment and adopt my mentality. I'm expecting not to ride SV for one of two reasons. Either it will not be operating, or the line will extend into the multiple hour range. Now, if I get one ride on SV I'll be content just to get the experience. If I'm luck enough to do so I don't anticipate more than one ride.

I'm just appreciative of all of the other great rides I was going to get to ride. To be honest, I was a lot more excited to get back on Millennium Force and Maverick than I was to try out SV. I haven't been riding the hype train as much as other people.

Sucks RMC is having a rough go at opening up SV after the Lightning Rod fiasco.

Yes it would be quite good if American corporate parks didn't have concerns about building intamins AND RMCs! Luckily Six Flags already built so many.

  2. Well if the 30 minute drive from the gate to parking lot is a sign of crowds to come might as well get fast pass now lol or they need to expand that road from 2 lanes to like 5. Got here 1045 and it's about to be 1145 when i enter the actual park. Also gotta say, non enthusiast friend screws me again lol as always they had no motivation or care to be here at opening sooo now it's near noon... sorry to say I can't go to parks with non enthusiasts it's just too inefficient, of time and money.

I don't mind going with non-enthusiasts as long as they listen to me because I know WTF I'm doing usually . Back in October the family all came to visit on a weekend and wanted to go to Kings Dominion...............on a Saturday.......in October. My sister was like "lets get there at opening!" I was sitting at their house at 11:30 annoyed because half the house wasn't showered yet and I knew every minute that went by on a Saturday in October that an astronimical amount of people were walking into that park. Place was a complete nuthouse by 1pm and the family was like "we'll get there the roller coasters aren't going anywhere!" no but those lines are getting longer!

  3. Gringott's is definitely weird to compare to something like Montu

A debate would between the two would be ridiculous "man I love the part on gringotts where the *spoiler* thing happens" "oh man but Montu's batwing is just ridiculous with the positive Gs" "still not as intense is the harry potter character shooting you with lightning on a screen!"

I didn't rank Gringott's because I consider it to be a "dark ride with coaster elements," as opposed to Mummy, which is a "coaster with dark ride elements." I wonder if that makes any sense to anyone but me?

Definitely makes sense to me. Gringotts never goes "full coaster" on you like Mummy does. When I first rode Mummy I had forgotten it was essentially a roller coaster with a dark ride beginning so it launched me up a hill into airtime somewhat out of nowhere what a pleasant surprise that was. Gringotts just has a little drop and curve through a tunnel other than that it's basically Spiderman/Transformers on a track.

  4. I really hope for a RMC Gwazi not some off the shelf clone coaster. Busch Gardens Tampa is not known for adding clone attractions. Every ride they built has been new and original. Now other parks have copied them but they have never copied other parks. So I am hoping they continue creating their own unique rides and attractions.

If a theme park adds a "clone' of a coaster it doesn't ruin the theme park. BGW is still amazing and wonderful with Tempesto. Absolutely nobody that isn't an enthusiast gives two sh*ts if there's a "clone" of another coaster anywhere.
