^That is very interesting news. As nice as a Halloween event at DL would be, there are a few issues. First is staffing. They have major problems with staffing after Labor Day. It used to be so bad that they would close half the park due to low staff levels. The weather can also get a bit dicey into October as well. A roller coaster ride in 40 degree temps causes quite a wind chill! Lastly, my concern is the amount of competition from other haunt events in the area, and how many people want to drive all the way out to DL when FrightWorld and Haunted Catacombs are much closer.
Ah closer to you, here in Rochester the haunted houses are mediocre at best. Not to mention the fact that Rochester in itself is a large haunted house. So it's either drive to Canandaigua (45mins)for some really scary stuff, Henriatta (15mins) for some okay stuff, or Darien Lake (45mins) for some okay haunted houses and a theme park.

^It was definitely too costly, as the conveyor and water pumps broke during the 2017 season. Not to mention the understaffing.

Well at least we know we're getting something!
It was probably just a way to update us.

Welp I got my first wish, now for the lighting.
-
If they put this thing next to the lake near the far side of TR, it could have some nice views. Also a light package would be nice, but lights are not Darien's thing

Did anyone notice the double-down at the end of Predator ? It's very slow so it's hard to notice.

(It keeps making me post the same message again.

Exited to head to CP this year! Although perhaps a little too excited, I'm considering buying a snake and naming it Professor Delbert.

I've been always drawing up plans for some small backyard coaster, and I assumed it would be complicated. But this dude, Fred Grubb (What a legend) is having a full scale construction crew build a freaking RMC Raptor in his yard

^Thunder Road. It got renamed for the 2015 season when RT opened, as it used to be called Niagara Frontier.

^I don't think that it only ran for one year, I was just saying that it was there at that time.

^On opening year (2008) they did.

Two things from this photo... LOL at the lady thinking that Tantrum is just B:tE rebranded, and according to the park they’re scrapping B:tE. If you really want some laughs, check out peoples reply’s to her in the comments.
Oh gosh, that last comment"Because Intamin Stand Up track looks just like Eurofighter track".
-
Did they get a exorcist or something? Because that thing just haunted us!
-
Darien posted a cool picture on Instagram, took me a decade to figure out it was a GIF.
-
How long will TR sit there? Or will it take the spot B:TE used to sit? I don't expect you to know, but I'm wondering what you think
-
Coincidence that Cobra is closing also? I think not!(But in all seriousness this is probably where they're getting money from.) Oh and on google maps this B:TE is labeled as a junkyard.
-
October weekends return! Friday's in May are new too.
Yes! So much yes! Did everyone else get the mailer too?
With Darien adding an extra 2° to the Iron Shark/Euro 380 design, Tantrum will be the 9th steepest coaster.(Along with Fahrenheit, Vild-Svinet, and about six others I belive.)

10 year anniversary of Moto quite literal coaster, plus a new ride. Isn't it Boomerangs anniversary aswell?
*Edit as I have mentioned my phone does not agree with Chrome the autocorrect does not work at all.(Not to mention my phones keyboard was desinged for ants.) It usually corrects for the worse, sorry for any trouble I've caused and thank you for pointing my mistakes.*

Did anybody else notice that Thunder Rapids is the image of the ground underneath Tantrum? Looks like they just put the Tantrum animation over a google maps view of the park or something.
Yeah, and how Mind Eraser just started going all traveling coaster on us.

That video is only rivaled by the video Kentucky Kingdom out together for storm chaser.
Thats what I was thinking.

Yeah but they opened RT and Brain Drain on time. Ha gotcha, Brain Drain broke down within 2 hours, and green didn't open until the next day
